I believe the biopsy plates are of the same pheno. I will get a new clone of the Leucistic/Albino's today with full biopsy steps.

Misted a bit after this photo. They seem to be getting very dry. Admittedly I forgot to compress at all. Normally id have compressed very gently. Maybe thats why theyre drying out faster?
Bumping this comment because of the new page and the fact that time is of the essence in this endevour!
I need to know if these look ok? Its been cold here. As low as 63 F during the nights. Is it worth cooking up a few quarts of casing? Or does it look like a lost hope at this point? I have near 0 experience with pans. If they are ok Im pretty sure I need to case asap?

Yeah dude definitely case. I put my casing on very thin like 1/4 to a 1/2” max.
I’ve HEARD pans won’t pin without casing. Not sure if that’s factual but I’ve never experimented or have paid attention to if others are casing

Thanks for reply! Im going to case. Last time I got this far the 2 tubs I had never pinned. I have the materials and the pasteurization process down to a science now so I will case as thin as possible and put them in the martha at 75 F. Should I flip lid for extra FAE?

If you’re using a martha, you should remove the lid completely. My process is spawn to bulk, lid on (if the lid creates an air tight seal, poke a few holes in it) wait till 100% colonization + 1 day. Then case, put the lid back on. Wait 24 hours, remove the lid and leave it off

Most gorgeous pan cyan TTBVI I’ve produced yet!

And a side by side comparison next to their reject cousins

Also cloned to like literally 15 water plates 😂 and hopefully getting some decent prints on them. hasnt been the easiest doing that with these. Look at how blue the caps get!

If I can get them print good for once, I’ll put them up for a giveaway.

The RDU tub turned green today. Looks like your hunch was correct SwabMarley, will rerun with other LCs and see if it consistently turns green. Anyway it was interesting to see how the mold made the fruits keel over and bruise at the base when getting in direct contact. The fruits in the closer vicinity were bruising lightly as well whereas fruits further away were still looking normal. This might be an indicator that tubs with bruising/aborting fruits are competing against a mold. Certainly something to keep a closer eye on. I still have the mini mono with the same culture but spawned to a different substrate. It's stalling at the moment...maybe it will also turn green soon.

Caps are tiny but I'm happy to see the red gills in person. Put some on foil in groups of three to print.

Been lurking this thread for years, feels weird opening it up to post something haha. My first attempt at Pan Cyan was rather humbling. Feast your eyes on my robust Estero harvest.

This time, I went with TTBVI in the hopes that an aggressive variety would give me enough to trip on until I get things dialed in. Did one in a martha on hpoo & another in a 16qt on supplemented coir. Still a ways to go, but I'm just happy to have fruited a new species. This was a really fun grow.

1st Thanks to a generous member I did some t1s from these last night. All of these germ plates are only 5 days old. Crazy fast.

Also did my first pan to water agar clone. I tried to do a traditional inner stipe flesh, which didn't go perfectly, but better than it could have considering the size. And I love how blue this fella turned within minutes of pulling apart.

And I am still amazed by the speed. Days from casing: 3,5,6,7,8

Does Pan. Bisporus mycelium have a tendency to stick to glass in LC, or am I likely growing mold?

All my cultures stick to the glass more or less but I am also not shaking much or at all. Photos available?

That's some nice coverage! and interesting to see both side by side.
What and how much have you used to supplement the coir? I'm doing my first run with liquid seaweed compost soon and am unsure about dosage.

Not the best pic, here's the Pan. Bisporus mycelium in question that's sticking to the glass circled.

Needs pretty strong shaking for it to get dislodged, just spinning it with a magnetic stirrer doesn't usually completely remove it from the glass and only positioning the stirrer on top actually achieves it. Other than that the LC itself is pretty much crystal clear. My cube LC never did that, even when I grew it out in jars without a magnetic stirrer and let it grow out for a while without touching it.
