I'm not too concerned with quantity in the long run, I know I'll have more than I can use but I actually really do think some mushroom varieties are aesthetically pleasing. AA+ came to mind because I'd never seen it before Enlightenment and Comeback kid just posted their grows and I became infatuated.

Ssssooooo I have some sporeworks pan cyan Goliath and pan cyan Hawaiian on agar. The Hawaiian is showing some growth. Going to do transfers this weekend. The Goliath is taking its time. I also have both injected into a pint jar of rye.... Hawaiian showing growth...Goliath sluggish but showing up.
And then there is this - jars filled 2/3 with a mix of CVG/hpoo/chopped straw and one third rye berries on top. I inoculated with the syringes and my plan is to shake and mix when the grain is 90-100 % colonized. Then do invitro fruiting with the top off in a SGFC.
Here is where that nutty idea is right now. Notice the MYCenter that germinated at the top of the cvg mix layer.

I'm noticing my older Pan Cyan plates have little bright flecks across the top. Is this normal?
Here's a Pan Cyan pint that was inoculated with 3 little agar wedges. Does this look normal and ready to use?

I've noticed little flecks against the glass when I enhanced the picture. Is this also normal or cause for concern?

Don't do what I did and spend the time and effort cultivating Panaeolus antillarum, thinking they were cyanescens, after being told the print was just that.
On a bright note - I don't think you often see Pan antillarum grows

Hello people, this is my first post. Wish me luck I'm about to try my hand at cultivating Copelandia/Panaeolus. I've been researching it for a couple months and gathering supplies and building a Glove Box and a Climate Controlled fruiting chamber. This journey started when I was able to acquire 2 Pelton & Crane Autoclaves, for $100. an eight inch OCM and a ten inch OCR.
I got a spore syringe of PAN CYANESCENS: HAWAIIAN from the spore depot and I just received my Potato Dextrose Agar petri plates. The time has come to inoculate the Agar...I hope I can maintain a clean environment in my glove box. I see know I probably should have gone with a Laminar Flow Hood but I need to do the transfer now before the agar and spore go bad.

Hmm, guess I'll toss the plates out and start over again. Sarah, I see, I forgot that pan cyan could even do stones. I guess I'll just spawn the pint to some sub and toss them into cakes or something.

You could still G2G couldn't you? Might not be the most ideal timing, but not like you got spores floating around in that jar.
Or spawn, up to you...
