You got it Shrimps

I try to get those going for weeks now and just get the hint that it's perlit, what an eye opener .
The thing is that I also added quiet some perlit to the substrate using gordoTEK, as i thought I would have vermiculite. I think I will start over again, but just for curiosity I will scrape off some of the perlit casing and add vermiculite instead.
There is no picture of the spawn available.
Thanks for the input! Will update if and how it turns out.
If you are running a tent or mini green house then read Hindsights write up about how he dialed his chamber in. He used cycle timers instead of humidity sensors as it is more reliable once dialed in and better than cheap hygrometers. Try it again with verm but could well be that more things will need adjustment.

Yes, humidity sensors are not working properly, but I think my chamber is dialed in quiet good. Actually first I tried with unmodified tubs following your tek, but all with perlit instead of vermiculite. So right now I can't tell at all if genetics might be a problem as well. I'll keep on experimenting .

Some Pan Cyan FL "Blue Springs" red spore that filled out quite nicely, along with some Pan Cyan Australia "Grasstree" creeping in on the right of the photo.

Message me for free Panaeolus prints if you promise to grow them, print, and disperse free of bias in kind! "I select to create more color, not less." "All my spores are belong to you." "PRESERVE LANDRACES!"

Does anyone else think pan's smell like semen? Smells like a 14 year old's bedroom when I harvest... Might just have a semen-pheno

Thanks man! This is my first time with bisporus, Iβve grown many βstrainsβ of pans so these werenβt a challenge at all but really fun to grow. Canβt wait to put some prints to agar/syringes/lc and get another couple cultures going. They fruited heavy in clusters, there arenβt many growing by themselves, which I really like.

Panaeolus smells like usual shrooms with hint of peach to me. Quite nice smell comparing to cubensis smell of the wet dog

Spawned today.
