I spray my bisporous tubs 2 to 3 times a day...they love it! They actually seem to prefer the misting.
Funky is a pro though with the Pans so Id listen to what he says to do!

Why so slow and thin? Should I transfer to new agar? Or toss them? Prints: bisporus
You should always transfer from germination plates.
The right photo, 7,8 o'clock in the bottom left of the plate by the edge- looks like a ton of mold. Looks green.
Ok I'll cut from first picture toss second plate. What you think about time and slow growth?

I've been watching the hell out of this thread. My goal is to grow pan cyans. I am doing my first bulk spawn of cubes right now , I'll probably do 2 more to get my technique down, then I'll get my hands on some pan cyan prints and try to make it happen.

spores travel in water. the water helps them eject from the mushroom

Ive never seen it before, but ive seen many of these Bisporous fruits with it. Although I have been missing the tub, the photo of the spore jelly was taken prior to any misting, and the last mist they received was close to ten hours prior to the photo.
I believe it is somehow being excreted by the shroom...

good spot, tryptkaloids. i wasn't aware of the role that the water droplets played in the spore release process. i had seen a picture of a cubensis mushroom with similar looking deposits on it's stem but no mention was made of what was the cause. it would seem then that the droplets are dripping from the cap and landing on the stem.

After 3 weeks in fruiting conditions, my 2 minis failed to produce anything other than a few extremely tiny pins. Pretty disappointed in this grow, but I'll revisit pans in the future most likely using a shallower sub (1.5" or less instead of 2"). Also only going to use an extremely thin casing as I felt the ~1/4" I used was too much.
