Have you tried increasing the temperature a bit? I'd shoot for 78 to 80 IMO.

I was worried about the temp being a bit on the low side. Currently the FC is in my basement, and it’s quite cool there. I have an aquarium heater in the water, but I may have to look at other ways to add heat to the system. I’ll work on that.

It is not only about clone - both culture from agar and multi spore must show quite a good result. Good clone will give you amazing result )
Have you measured CO2 level. Pans are sensitive for good FAE.
What do you look for on agar? Just the normal things....speed, uniformity, overall health?
Speed, uniformity, hairiness like (not codweb like), density.

This is what I am working with now. Any Pointers? This is the 5th transfer of P.C. Peace River. This is the same I just sent to fruit and got 3 pins that aborted. It fruited in an outside grow....in hindsight I should of cloned but did not have any plates poured. Live and learn.
Trying to get it uniform and not sectoring. Good base to just keep transferring from?

Based on what I've seen/read here, no more than half an inch, not compressed tightly, not leveled, just enough to cover the myc, and leave it fluffy.

That's hilarious!!!! It's so great to deal with people who share their experiences and knowledge of their successes and failures. It's also great to deal with folks who have a good sense of humor!! Life can be absolutely shitty but I've always been able to laugh. Thanks for the haha moment. On another note what would you say has been your best pan experience? What kind/dose? Enquiring minds wanna know!! Happy Sunday you filthy panheads!!

Have no pan experience so far. Tried to cultivate them months ago, but all my cultures on grains stalled for no apparent reason. Should have bulked them anyway as some suggested here, but didn't know and tossed them all.
Will try them again this week, spore to grains, then agar cleaning then grain bags and trays in fc. Hope it fruits this time.

Hey Pan-people,
Thank you to Doobsker and SirPsycho for the inspirarional pics... And cosmikltraveler for the link - I unremembered that I meant to look that up.
My grow room temps are still averaging 15-16C. So everything is on a grow slow.
Time for an update. Last Update some good looking jars went to bulk.
They look like this now. No sign of previous problems other than growth speed issues I assume are from the cold environment. They are 9 days old.

Jars nocc'd on June 8 and shaken on June 24 - going to bulk in the coming week. This pic was taken a week ago. Sub recipes are undecided but I think I hit-up the search and choose 2 or 3.
What is important to note here is that the jars that have oats in are struggling. I saw this with oat-base-GWA recently but didnt make any notes - Now it is confirmed and noted here, hopefully it will help someone else. My culture very often doesn't like getting on to Oat-GWA and oat-spawn. The agar and spawn that has been going well in this run is sorghum based - Oats clump less and don't burst as much as sorghum but I will take that over no growth.
(I have been tweaking my grain prep to get better/looser/easier to shake jars)
I put a little veld grass in these jars as a test. Initial growth was the same as the others but the recovery was visibly quicker.
 (edit- added pic)
If you see anything I need to know about in the pics - bad and good. Let me know.
Thanks for all the past help and encouragement. 794

Just did up 3 pans (of pans) and made a huge mess in the process.
Hopefully these pans of pans will pan out in the end.
