So my pan grain jar colonised very quickly but seems to have stalled at say 90-95% i've seen others say the same. Whats the consensus? Shake? I seem to remember people saying the spawned them with success but I'm not keen to do that
Got all my stuff ready for the sub as well just need to get it pasteurised but waiting for the jar to colonise.
Thanks all

Pics? What kind of lid setup are you running? I had some jars that stalled at the same 90% to 95%. I left them alone for several days and they didn't change at all. I loosened the lids a little bit, left them alone for a few more days, and the next time I looked at them they had finished colonizing.

I'm not allowed to post any more pics till I pay money...and I will soon
They've just got the standard 1/4' hole (I think) with the micropore for GE
I'm debating shaking them but not sure if thats the way forward with pans. I may give it a day or two then crack the lid slightly

Alright, so I think the jar I inoculated with brf has fully colonized and I got a jar of bvi colonized as well. Planning on doing liquid manure pasteurization. Can I get a general consensus on temp and time for this? Should I stick to 150 F for 1 hour?

Guys, today I took 0.6g of my stored Bisporus (3 mushrooms). This is my trip report.
I went into it with a pretty positive and adventurous mindset. At first I just felt something was happening and had to stretch, shiver and yawn a whole lot. After some time my lower body finally felt "locked in", as if it dissolved in a hot tub or something. The trip wasn't strong enough to consume my whole body like this, but enough for the "seat of emotions", or lower chakras, if you will.
From there I fell into a really pleasant "dream". The visuals were incredible as always, I've also noticed a lot of pitch black colors here. Normally when trips are colorful it doesn't really include the black color, but this was different. A lot of beautiful, satisfying deep black textures were peeling off the surface of consciousness. The imagery of praying mantises were out of this world. I also saw some weed buds for a short period. The high frequency vibrations were present again, typical for Bisporus, vibrating all parts of my body. Including the most intimate ones. It was truly orgasmic at one point and I felt actual sexual pleasure from it, to the point where it made me wonder if I'd cum hands-free.
The intention around this trip was around Love. I've had some questions around this topic, and it's been a big topic of my trips in the past as well. What was very nice is the fact that a lot of the music (which I have on random play from my album) seemed to really fit the vibe well, and some of the lyrics even gave me some answers about love. Like the track Tristam - Truth. This one spoke deeply to me and even though I've known it for over a decade now, it was almost like hearing the lyrics for the first time. Truly touching.

I prefer 160 F for 2 to 3 hours. I've done longer, but I don't think it's necessary.

Trying the advice given @AspectOfTheCreator... "Just send it" - or that's how I understood.
Recap This plate - What I thought was a powdery contam of some kind. May 18.

Colonised faster than the other two "better looking" plates. (The plates had all stalled - Middle is the above plate.) - May 21

Fully colonised - May 26
G2G to the 5 larger jars. A Muda-style-put-in-what-you-have mix of stuff. Sorghum, oats, cow dung (5%), gypsum, a little spent coffee in the soak water.

And we are here today - June 3 Left to do their thing for a few days after full colonisation.
Going to a Baba Yaga style Coir/manure(25%) sub at a spawn ratio at 1:1
I will decide in the moment but it looks like it will be a 5 quart box and some bottles.
All the grain transfers so far have smelled like mushroom. Colonisation has been as fast as described in this thread - even with low day time temps in the grow area, 16-18C.
Thanks to @AspectOfTheCreator for sharing what was going on in their grows and the advice given... And everyone else for their help too.

Hello everyone I have a question: after pinning, what is more advantageous, to increase or decrease the FAE.
Thanks

Great observation, I notice the same and indeed after reading 'the matter with things' it became apparent that the right hemisphere 'presents' things (as for the first time) and the left-hemisphere 're-presents' things (memory). With the left brain muted (more or less), things become 'fresh' again.. intriguing, thanks for sharing adas

What do you guys think about leds strips as lighting for Marthas? Do the pans even care as long as they get ambient living room light?

If you are getting pins, I would keep the FAE the same. I certainly would not decrease it, unless things are getting too dry and you have no ability to increase the humidity.
Update on my outdoor bisporus patch: It turned out to be my best flush of anything ever! They were all shorter than I was hoping for, but I'm not surprised considering the humidity has been a little lower than they prefer. Harvesting has been a pain in the back and legs, as I have over 3 hours so far today, and I'm only at about 80% harvested.

whitebelt, LED strips should work just fine. I've used a single daylight LED bulb on 12/12 successfully, and I've seen lots of growers use LED strips as well. Ambient room light could also work, depending on how much light comes in the window(s). I prefer to keep my curtains closed for privacy, and rely on artificial lighting.

Glad to have possibly helped someone! Trying something new atm based on advice from a fellow member here. inoculated jars of 0.3 quarts wbs and 0.5 quarts manure. Seems like it may work out well. If it colonizes I believe this will enable me to just spawn to cvg. Skipping the need to pasteurize manure. The jars can definitely be shaken if need be but ive decided to stop shaking pan jars. I find it impossible to tell when theyre fully colonized when I do.

3 days in and myc has jumped off already. Will update.
