Thanks for your help. That is the only info i found. Does it have a good ph?

* Organic matter: 50-60%  *pH: 8.5
* Organic Matter/Dry Matter: 55%

That pH is just right for pans afaik.

All of that said, Bisporus has provided the best trips out of anything I've ever grown, followed by Nec-D and BVI. The euphoria is next-level. The visuals are intense, but also crystal clear. And, while it could be set and setting, Bisporus has taught me the most about ego.

Yea buddy! I'm also a major Bisporus freak :rockon::rockon:

Is it OK to make LI or LC with pans? Do they mind the stir plate?

This talk about the euphoria that comes with bisporus makes me really want to give them a try. They’re such cute looking little things too.

With CC USA’s sale going on, should I try Pan Cyan first or just get some bisporus spores. Though SW’s site often gives me the forbidden /403 error page like it’s doing now.

I do have LC's in 100 or 250 ml media bottles made from 0.1% LME broth. Had tested a couple of cultures after 12 month last year which both worked and will try them this year again after 24 month.

Bisporus progress.. I really like these pp containers, they were with the money.. sturdy and very clear.

I'll prep some casing soon. I think I stored 1 casing too long, stuff is no longer pinning on it, and one container after the other is contaminating.. which is a pity. I saved 3 small mealprep containers uncased as a controll, which colonized 100%, clean. So I fear the casing material got passed it's due date.. (think it was stored for over a month)

i lost about 15 prints they are dead i try to use water agar, jelly agar, summoning beings from 5th dimension, dextrose only agar, putting a full print in distilled water for a month no germination when put to agar :wow:

There's Frank's agar media journal with a few LME-free agar recipes. Though I suggest really looking into breweries, bakeries or baking supply shops - those places should have it. I used a liquid black malt extract from a baking shop (not exactly LME) - worked well enough 😃

Sooooo.... even though the day had bad news there's also a good side. I'm getting my soil ready for the garden and thought I'd take a picture of one of the piles of horse shit that I'm dealing with. As I raked the pile I uncovered a small fire deep in the pile. Gotta love nature right!?!? Doesn't really smell like poop anymore. I'll take the bad grain and some of that and some straw and put it in my garden!!! Maybe they'll Pop up outside after a good rain!! Happy Thursday to you panheads. Forward on 😎✌️

Nice pile! What did you mean to say with the sentence I've highlighted? Not literal fire, right?

Oh yeah!!! At first I thought it was just dust but I went slightly deeper and then I realized it wasn't dust it was ash! I touched the mound and it was very hot to the touch. There were 2 separate piles and this one seemed quite a bit older. It was pretty wild. Hopefully I'll get these pans figured out so I can put some of this manure to work other than my summer garden!! Happy Sunday ya filthy panheads!! 😎✌️

Hey there Pesa!! Nice to see you. Much of the agar I've used is from the leftover water from boiling grain. I've also seen people use leftover water from boiling pasta as long as nothing is added to the water. Hope to see ya around!! Happy Sunday to everyone!! 😎✌️

there is a not a huge market for LME on my side of the world handful of people make craft beer, the only time i got malt it was called DRY MALT EXTRACT thing was too nutritional, grain water is good  Frank's agar media journal has a lot info, i am gona see what will work out but this time i am keeping few cultures alive instead of spores.:snoopyes:

Depends on what texture this will give you. The main thing s to keep it from getting muddy & soggy. In my experience if you use well field aged manure then you can add more of it as most of the fines and stuff that makes it muddy got washed out. You could use 100% manure if the texture is alright. You will have to test this out, see what your manure is like and adjust by adding coir, straw or verm. Leaving it a bit under field capacity can help as well.

Happy Monday/ Memorial day to you panheads!!
I have a question about putting the tam jar outside. Do you water those spots? Or do you just let nature do it's thing? Just wondering. I've never really messed with them outside. Thanks in advance friends and neighbors!! 😎✌️

Just been going through my pan plates...

My biggest problem for me is that I am still looking at this myc with Cubensis-eyes.

The two best plates - according to cubensis-eyes.

0.5% Malt with Nutitional-yeast. One is a T3 the other a T5.

If those arent clean then... I will be super surprised.

Any comment on how the myc looks to you guys?

It's hard to see clearly, but I'd say it looks pretty good. Don't overthink Pans, just send it. :rockon:
