I like the looks of a fully packed out tent.
Nice work and kudos for hanging in there and figuring it all out in that short of time.

Nice grow OFOW! I'm not sure how your loading your tent but it is interesting that the best growth in on the bright side. That is a stocked tent!

I should have mentioned that the trays furthest along in fruiting get placed closer to the light (right side). Not sure if this makes a difference though!

Murphy — is that Estero? My first attempt with Estero did something similar, however after increasing FAE on my second attempt, I didn’t notice it as much. I also got better looking fruits. Maybe try that? Although please defer to the OGs here (I’m pretty new!).

Hey dude! It's not but I do have some estero is jars and trays right now! Did your sub recover? I noticed the hose I'm running into the tent was like cooked to the side sbd pointing completely away from that tray, so I misted fixed the hose snd shut the tent door but honestly I was thinking they were looking better with the door open bc of thr increased FAE.

Posted to the agar envy thread but nobody replied. All my pan plates grow very thick and pillowy before eventually stalling out. No other signs of contam ever show up. Any ideas? Enmeshed mold/bacteria? Best pics I can could manage to take. 1% LME agar.

What brand and what percent of agar are you using? Are you doing no-pour? With Telephone brand, I'm using only 1.25% agar agar powder by weight. I've had significantly better results by using less than 2% by weight.
If that doesn't work, you could also try going to 0.5% LME by weight.
I would make up some new agar and transfer some of what you have going to see how it responds. Please keep us updated and good luck!

Appreciate the quick response. Using no pours and telephone brand 2g per 100 mL dH2O. Recently started lowering it to 1.7 g per 100 mL due to lack of germination. Always have to germinate on small pf tek cake first then transfer to agar. Will certainly try adjusting. Right now waiting for some transfers to grow out on water agar.

Murphy07,
My sub stayed bruised blue throughout the entire grow. Fair amount of overlay too. Oddly enough it didn't contaminate until after the third flush. The fruits were weird:

Good to know, how many humidifiers do you have jn your tent? I'm about to have 2 shelves of fruiting trays and want to be sure everyone gets some love.

Two aquarium foggers: one piped in over the top shelf (set on high), and the other piped in over the second shelf from the bottom (set on low).

They look wet, I'd try to use less fog.

Harvested a few trays of TBVI this morning. Compared to Estero, the fruits were denser and with more bell-shaped caps. I also liked the slightly albino look.

This was a neat looking mutant:

That's an interesting read. Thanks for sharing. What would you say are the key take-aways for pan growers?
One thing I might do differently is pasteurize at exactly 140. I do sous vide which I love because I can dial it in +/- 1 deg. I have been leaving water temp at 160 simply because the warmup of the substrate to 140 takes less time. But maybe a slower pasteurization at a temp more beneficial to good microbes is worth the wait.

I'm also wondering if I should go a bit lower. My setup sometimes shoots up to 80°C and that's prolly not ideal. Between 60 and 70 could be alright.
It also makes sense that people advise to age your sub a bit after pasteurizing. However, the article seems to talk about Agaricus mushrooms, not sure how that translates to Pans.
