This is why I need to actually take notes and shit...
Haha yeah I feel you man. I forget stuff like that all the time. I am so naturally baked most of the times that I can't put 5 cups of something into something else without becoming unsure about how many I have put in.
Thanks for the answer and good vibes your way.

Baba Yaga Initially I was planning to just have the tub at a higher temp in the Martha. However, after a few hours I started worrying that the heat might dry them out. Thatβs when I turned on an ultra sonic humidifier and pointed the output toward one of the main tub holes so humidity would waft in there. This is by no means a systematic grow - Iβm just watching and listening and hoping because Iβm going to a remote cabin with my buddies next weekend and I need supplies π€ͺ

Hey fellow growers...
I thought it better to post here than in Baba Yaga's Monotub thread.
I have a dodgey syringe and have been trying to get it off the contam, through the grow process to a printable fruit.
Looking at my pan-plates today, I have two version from T3 and T4.
T4 plate DD March 17. 50/50 Grain water and Potato broth with 1% honey (by weight). Are the thin lines showing the sectoring under the tomentoes growth?
T4 also dated March 17. 100% potato broth with 1% honey (by weight). None of the lines compared to the top pic.
Is one "better" than the other?
My current plates are MEA. I took another transfer to T4 from the same parent as the ones above. One to the PDA-type and one to MEA just to see if the myc will give me more info.
In the mean time, what do you guys think?
Thanks in advance

There are much better qualified judges in here than I but I would choose the first plate and those lines are not necessarily sectors.
Ok my last post about the Pan Cam v Komodo for a while. I harvested today. The main tub and a little mini tub from a take out container. Here are some close ups as well to give you a sense of the size and morphology. Still canβt believe a MS tub treated me so well. π

Those are really dense cultures. I have to agree that the first one looks somewhat "better" and the second one has a bit of a moldy fuzziness to it but it's always hard if you can't have a look in person as lots of detail is missing due it being all white on white.
If I understand correctly then you are going to make your MEA plates with reduced nutrient content. That will probably help with judging the cultures. I'd aim for 0.5% MEA.
It's kind of quiet in here.........

Doesn't have the organized mycelium lines running outward and instead has a disorganized pattern.
Things have been a bit crazy for me lately and it has been taking away my time to cult, but also taking away my ability to be on the forums as much. Used to be able to work during the day while occasionally popping in here throughout the workday but don't have that ability any more.
Some really nice looking grows you guys. Nice dense canopies.

Good to hear you are OK Hindsight, things are getting crazy here as well and I will be busy AF soon. Some of it will be office work though but have to cut back on fucking around. Margins for procrastination will get paper thin for a while.

Thanks for weighing in on my plates guys.

So, the plates that look like this one go forward.
Don't have any low nutrient plates. My current set is 3% Malt extract by weight. The malt I have is not for brewing so who knows what the nutrient profile is. Anyway, I will make a set of 24 plates @ 0.3% and take a wedge for each sector
@Hindsight, sorry to hear that you have things keeping you from the hobby. The condensation tek works for me, thank you. @Baba, thanks for the constant input... And PsiloPsychIn, thanks.
I'll check-in in a week with pics etc.

Post a high-res photo of the whole surface as well. Seen this before, more often with high temperatures. All worked out in the end for me but YMMV. If it doesn't turn green I would keep it around to see what happens. Are all your trays like that?
