I'd almost bet bisporus are one of the ones that have higher than average levels of Harmaline, Harmine, and related beta-carbolines in the fruits and mycelium.
5g+ of pan bisporus felt soooo similar to psilohuasca to me, with the dreamlike visionary state, right down to lasting 8 hours and the fatigue/malaise that I've always experienced with harmala + Mush.
Is this similar to nats? Sounds like itβs my nat experience
In my experience, no. My Pan Bisporus experiences don't mirror Adas other than I have definitely felt an energy boost, but I've had only one bisporus experience I'd really consider "enjoyable". More than one had marked annoyance/irritability, and the large dose had more body discomfort even than cubes.
Natalensis has been always very enjoyable and chill for me, but definitely does have the drowsy visionary aspect in the beginning.

Nice! Those are better than any of my attempts. What substrate did you use?
I have my next batch that JUST finished colonizing on a new substrate recipe. I should know if it works in another month or so.

Update on the transfers, the first 3 are estero showing aggressive myc for 3 days however I think I may see some purple in the middle of one? The other are ttbvi showing healthy growth as well but nearly as fast as the estero.

I'm wondering if when I go to make the shit water π¦ for the four to suck up during bucket Tek..... Would it be ok to boil a little of it with the shit or just pasteurize a little bit with the coir and just mix those 3 things together. Grain/coir/wheat straw pellets.
Throw some in with the manure and keep at 140F for an hour and then pour everything in the coir bucket. Should work just have to sus out how much water to use or add more dry coir if it gets too soggy. Don't make it too wet.
Sorry I called you babe. Jeez.... Autocorrect. I will try that. Just did my first transfer from original plate. Just took 3 and will see what happens. If it stays nice and white then I'll put to grain. Thanks for the info on the coir Baba. Much appreciated. Happy Monday!! πβοΈ

Hey babes,
Tent is currently being dialed in with just trays. Was all excited before bed and woke up to 40% and alarms going off. Fan failure is fun. Cooked some casing and about to case some Wild Coast.
Waiting on some BVI, Nec D, and cambos.

Hey Hinsight My bulk recipt is in my post one side back. But here you go.: h-poo/hemp chips/straw. 30/30/40. Casing was just 50/50 + hydrat lime. My next tray is same kind of bulk but the casing is some half decayed pine wood made for tarraium bedding.
What is your New recipt.? Poo/straw/HWFP.?

Very interesting Mycosmith.... I have tried standard pan sub (straw/vermm/manure) and also standard pan sub with HWFP added. All I ever get is massive cloudy overlay. Well I did get some fruits once but all were just around the edges and pretty sad. LOTS of metabolites in every tray I have spawned, and I know everything is clean too. It's just not happy. I tried casing and no-casing. Might be the genetics.
Maybe the new recipe I created will work. Will see in one month.

Any recommendation between these pan cyan varieties: wild coast, alabama, estero.

I can't speak for the 1st two but I have some estero on plates now and it's very very aggressive growth, high hopes indeed.

I'm partial to the more albino appearance of most Alabamas, but not all share that phenotype.

Looks like mold to me Murphy. The tell-tale sign to my eyes is that you have extremely thin, wispy growth on the outer areas and it is thicker in the older, central areas. I have noticed that's a growth pattern that mold has, whereas pan mycelium remains relatively constant in its thickness across the growth area. I'm guessing that growth is moving VERY fast too - like that outer 1" of growth probably happened overnight. If so, that's another dead-indicator of mold. Also the thickness of the central area is generally thicker than pan mycelium will get.

That's the way my thinking was as well, I wouldn't say it popped up over night it was myc but seemed to have kinda turned darker to me, I've separated it from the other jars but going to monitor for the next few days and provide updates. But as far as color goes it does look darker than the other spots for sure. Not sure where the contam occurred, well I have an idea lol, as I was doing my transfers I dropped the lid while attempting to put back on. It was one of those instances where I was trying to be extremely efficient in the process and basically kept dropping the lid π. However this jar may have not been a transfer plate, it could have been a germ plate as well which I've already learned from a post I made earlier in the thread, baba suggested not to use germ plates when moving to grain. However the other ttbvi jars are from transfer plates, I just didn't see any indicators of the germ plate causing any problems. Live and learn I suppose.no worries I have other new transfer plates for the ttbvi that are currently growing as expected.

If it helps any, I'm running 50/50 cowpoo/coir, the second tray (the one in the photo I posted) I added gypsum and it is kicking the other ones ass, it's even going for a third flush now
Maybe try a little gypsum?

Wild Coast - was my second pan grow attempt and first successful one. They were aggressive and pretty eager to fruit. The pic below Is my first flush I had with them. Printed a bunch and spread them around here - respect out to Zifozonke who found them and passed a spore print on to me!
