Was referring to these spots when saying knots but might just be light reflections on droplets.

I am wondering if anyone can advise. Instead of doing a martha/mini greenhouse for pans, would it be fine to use something like a 4x4 tent with wire rack shelving and mimic the same environment? I'm interested in doing this because I would have more surface area for trays in a tent versus a martha.

I use the martha because its tall and skinny, easy to distribute the same amount of moisture from humidifier, All you’d need to do is not have dry areas on the outside with one moist spot in the middle I have made a T-shaped humidity diffuser for the top of my Martha. You could do the same for whatever size you was thinking about getting

Done with the last pan tubs in a day or two. Doing a comparison of what effect exposure to fruiting conditions at different times in the colonization phase has.

I agree, that is a cute little cluster!
Why did you harvest them? How long did they grow? It only took my first pans 4-6 days to grow to 6 inches or longer and open the caps quite a bit.

the first pins started showing 8 days ago so its been a solid week.
one tub didnt really produce any fruits at all but the other one did pretty good i guess all things considered. i harvested them because i was worried they were going to go bad and essentially rot away i guess. a few decent sized mushrooms were already turning totally blue and getting soft so i figured it was time.
im getting ready to convert one of my grow tents into a martha style chamber, i basically just need the humidity controller.

What have people found to be the most significant factors in getting thick, full canopies when growing pans? I want to share my anecdotes and see what people think.
I have been fruiting in an "open air" sort of method in a small bathroom. I put my trays in a bathtub/shower area and cycle a humidifier on/off and the tub kinda fills up with humidity/fog and then dissipates.
I've noticed the trays that get hit more directly with the fog from humidifier, seem to produce heavier in comparison to those that get less direct contact in the tub they are sitting in. I assume this may be due to more evaporation occurring in between "humidifier on/off" cycles on the tubs that are getting more mist on their surface. Should I be cycling the position of my trays? I remember Jakeoncid mentioning this in his tech in his martha.
Another thing I've noticed is that warmer room temperatures, possibly, gives me a better flush. 78-80 Degrees F seemed to produce better than 72-75F.
Other factors I think about about are cleanliness, genetics, and fresh air flow. Unless I'm filling my humidifier (every 24-36 hours), the bathroom door stays shut so there isn't that much fresh air exchange/air flow despite the humidifier misting coming down on the trays every 30 minutes, which seems to be enough.
What have you guys found?
Here are some varied canopies: This was one of my best, at warmer temps (80F) and High humidity

Not as dense:

Least dense, this tray was not receiving much direct contact from the humidifier at all which is why I mentioned that in my post above.

I'm grateful none the less for getting some flushes but really am trying to dial these in.

Looks amazing! All I can say is that Pans absolutely love water, a lot of it, so maybe pooling water on the surface could improve pinset. My Cyans for sure didn't mind, and possibly loved it.
