Total from the first flush was 125g wet. Took my time with the harvest and the surface stayed in pretty good shape.
Any tips to help with a 2nd flush? So far I have just given them a mist and rehydrated the perlite a bit.
Also cloned the largest two from the square tray but I'm not sure how well it went... these little guys are not easy to get tissue from.
edit: I just noticed that one of the dishes did have a few pins that I overlooked before misting. Whoops... They seem to still be growing though, so they must not have gotten too wet.

I read about this somewhere here and did it for my last grow-
Gently pour room temperature tap water on to the surface till much of the surface is submerged. Then drip tap water into the inner edge of the trays- letting water flood the tray- did this for 3hrs., the cake will float but that's ok.
After 3 hrs just hold the cake in place and pour the water out. Most of the case should still be in place. Just put it back in the SGFC- don't worry about it being too wet.
I only did that after the first flush. After subsequent flushes I just sprayed the surface. I got 5 flushes this way- but the 5th flush was hardly worth harvesting because it was so small.

IME with pan cambos, the second flush is literally a few days after first without any action taken (I did mono's but u should mist with an SGFC if dry). when u get it right (looks like u did), they literally just pummel out of the tray on their own accord
ur signature makes me wanna go hunting for chickens.

I see what you mean. They are definitely not wasting any time putting out a new batch of fruits! New clusters of pins are developing fast on all the containers.
They were very dry last night so I did bottom water them by like Mary Fairchild suggested. I poured water down the sides until they were almost floating and they soaked most of it up within an hour.
And yeah, I can't wait until it's time to get back out in the woods.

I have two 66 qt tubs of Pan. Bisporous. The first picture has 4 quarts, the second picture has 7 qts. They have been spawned since th 10th of Feb.
Substrate is 1:1:1:1 ratio of straw, coir, hpoo, verm...with coffee, worm castings, and gypsum as additives.
How do they look to you guys?

I don't know anything about pans but that looks quite fucking awesome.
Do you really need a varied sub mix with those? What about cvg alone?
Also, don't know how you guys cut the liner so neat, my noob ass gets in there with a box cutter and the corners are a real bitch...

Awesome thanks guys!! I wasnt quite sure if it would thicken up a bit more or not..
Yeah the corners can be a real tricky scenario...ive actually found its alot easier to hold the blade by itself rather then use the knife...
You dont have to ge that creative with the substrate, i was just havin fun, most people just use hpoo and verm or coir. Some people use just straw...they are pretty versatile.
I remeber seeing something about letting them consolidate to avoid overlay...so i think ill wait to case until next weekend.

Good Luck!

Mary- I was hoping you would chime in!!! Thank you very much. How long do our tubs usually take to reach 100% colonizization? I think these were done a few days ago but I couldnt tell cause the myc is so thin. I'm still gonna wait until this weekend to case. Do you think there is any risk in waiting too long to case?

This is terrain I haven't tread on- I've never used mono tubs for Pans because I find it easier to tweak the air movement/humidity in trays. Regardless, i've seen some impressive mono tub grows in this thread; i'm interested in learning about this myself- hopefully others will respond.

I have here another little Pan project I'm working on...
Panaelous Cinctulus...from BL
I colonized one quart of rye berries and spawned it to a 12 quart shoebox with 2 quarts of spawn, for a 1:2 ratio. Substrate is Hpoo:straw:coir:verm with cofee, worm castings, and gypsum for additives.
The jar sat for awhile as I wasnt sure if it was clean since the myc was REALLY thin and pretty much grey in appearance. But i said what the heck and decided to spawn it with some leftover sub I had from another project. The spawn smelled FANTASTIC, so i got excited.
It finished colonizing last weekend so I gave it a one week consolidation and cased it this morning. Check it out!!

Thanks D!!
I think you would be surprised that there was/is no dialing in. They are in a 12 quart shoebox with the lid flipped upside down and centered. It leaves a long crack on all four sides...seems to be enough!

Nice! Excited to see how your tubs turn out. I have a small tub of pan cambos in the works too. It just hit 100% and I'm going to let it consolidate for longer than my small containers did.
Also, I made a timelapse from my first flush in the sgfc last week. Posted it in the cult. pic of the day but figured it belongs here too. Definitely wouldn't have had a result like this without this thread!
