This is from a couple days ago. These are all first transfer. I'm going to do another transfer tonight, hopefully by Saturday I can throw them to a LC.

thanks for the confirmation of bisp feedback & kind words - IMO they looked a bit starved for air (fuzzy feet) and moisture (couple cracked tops) in the sweater box, but did way better than I expected. I evicted them from GH to make room for something else. They proved fairly hardy in essentially a mini-mono, taking regular hits from the spray bottle without aborting.
I have a hypothesis that it's not the misting that causes aborts, it's the dry air (RH drop) that hits them when we open them up to mist, especially if we're overdue to mist. At least cinctulus seems this sensitive. I took care with these bisps to get my mister primed and had it ready to put the first sprays in with barely a cracked lid and got them wet before opening further for pics etc.

The aborts and misting issue is kinda unclear to me. My Jamaicans are fine with the mist from an ultrasonic- very tiny water drops- but WILL abort if I mist them with a standard spray bottle. Anything that wets them enough to make them look shiny will cause them to turn black unless I quickly fan them until they look dry.
Little pins that are trying to grow in the understory of a dense forest of much bigger shrooms are also more vulnerable. Below is a pic of 2nd flush Jam breaking through the understory of black aborts 1.5 days after harvesting the first flush: These guys are fine if take them out of the GH into the dry air (<50% humidity) for a few minutes.
I used to think any really small mushrooms will abort from misting but some exotic varieties are ok with heavy misting.
Each variety and species of Pans and exotics has its own individual quirks and misting is one of multiple reasons for aborting.

This is Pan Cyan MS on MEA, 11 days old. It doesn't look like normal Pan mycelium based on the pics in this thread but then again it doesn't seem bacterial to me.
What do you guys think? Worth taking a transfer?
 (sorry for the pic quality)
Thanks!

Ugh...thanks.
Syringes from two vendors have turned out bad and I don't think it's my process as I've done others at the same time without any problems.
Time to start over. Ain't stopping until I get this shit!

hard to see but from the little bit of the edge of the growth that is visible...it looks like pan mycellium to me.
