I’ve been good this year, what pan species do you guys, gals an teapots recommend that’s best for a pan n00b to give a swing at?

I like Peace River and NecD a lot. BVI is strong but a little more finicky to grow. Pan Cambo are hardy and Baba grows them in monotubs.

Peace River is quite lite as for me - good for newcomers. NecD is known by everyone to be the strongest. But I reccomend Brooksville - also very strong with amazing visuals. Also it is easy to grow - fist wave in 50L monotub was 850g. Brooksville is highly reccomended.

Nice, that sound awesome. How many quart of spawn and what spawn to substrate ration was used to produce this yield?

Are you only doing one flush per grow?

Hi,

this is how it was with Brooksville:

Unfortunatelly I was forced to stop after the first wave with that grow ( Ussualy I try to take 3 vawes.
But soon will repeat again with Brooksville to see if it was just lucky culture. But what I see even now with Brooksville cultures on agar they look very healthy and grow fast.

About the substrate there was nothing speacial - 50/50 with coir.

That flush looks sooooo good.

I was more interested in how much spawn you have put in that substrate. I would guess 2 quart for a 50 liter tub?

Bispo ms bag in mono is still going.

Fungus gnat for size reference

Also a new substrate has started to pin  From the same ms round but this time I made an lc and injected straight into substrate (hpoo/straw) bag, Asura style. Should have used two syringes as this took way too long but still seems to have worked pretty well. My best looking Pan pin set to date.

This is being fruited in standard mono and hooked up to a simple air bubbler system that provides humid fae.

Mannnn those are beautiful!! Well done homeskillet!!
I definitely want to give those a shot at some point! The color is nice! Do they print good? Speaking of prints... How do you do yours? I did a cube print and put it on foil and put a glass cup over it and left it alone for a day. It made a beautiful print! The cap was still viable and it went in the dehyd with the rest! I'm just trying to learn more!! Happy Friday buddy!! 😎✌️

Yes would love to do that too, unfortunately I don't live near nature. But, I always listen to Kilindi Iyi.. and think to myself it wasn't that bad haha. Being challenged builds your courage.. that is what we all need  when we push the envelope.

By a river with good friends and a big ass fire!! Nothing like it!! If I'm inside I need music!
Anybody got any good suggestions on their playlist?

Holy shittima my friend!!!! You talked to the universe didn't you!?!? As a young buck about 15ish I ate a few mushrooms I suspect were pan cyan. Very small. We didn't weigh... We grabbed what we wanted and ate it and I lost everything for I dunno how long but it was not responsible shroomin for sure. Even though it was terrifying, the next few days after those fuckin mushrooms STILL talked to me like my conscience! Great and bad all at the same time. I'm glad you're ok. Might feel this one for a minute!!
Peace and chicken grease!! 😎✌️

Well, I realized I've been going up too fast and need to stop, start low and work my way up step by step. Received some advice here, as I got challenging trips every single time.. although my trip on 2,5gr was less challenging than this 1gr :frown:
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27862155

Early on many of mine were kinda difficult just due to the fact I think it wasn't weighed at all. Just not really ready. Set and setting is wayyy important and do is dosage. We as young people were just irresponsible shroomites! Lol I didn't really realize until later that if they're potent you don't hafta munch a ton. Mushrooms have definitely helped me in several areas of my life as I'm sure many of us have.
Enough rambling!
Happy Friday!! 😎✌️

Pan Huasteca RDU (sadly not printable)

V. L. Those are beautiful my friend!! Stupid question but how do you continue the lineage of them if they don't have spores? Or do you dissect the mushroom itself? Enquiring minds wanna know!!
Happy Friday! Thanks for taking the time to respond! I appreciate it.

Hey Scotay, any news about the plates you have inoculated a few days ago?

News on the uncased Bunnell tub:

First knots turned into first pins.

Just gave them their first heavy mist, find out soon whether they like it or not.

Pan Cyan vs. Bisporus colonizing moldy sub (improper pasteurization). Cyan got stalled, but you can see the Bisporus colonized no problem despite the mold.
