That mycelium surface pattern is INCREDIBLE
Speaking of trich, I'm doing some trich research. I have been growing it on plates and running some experiments in order to see if I can dispel some myths and bring more explanation and predictability to it. I'll do a write-up when I'm finished. In the meantime, holy shit the stuff grows fast. It will completely fill up a 100mm agar plate inside of about 48 hours vs pan mycelium which takes 7-9 days. And it DOES sporulate on plates - and quickly too. I have seen people say it won't become visible nor sporulate until it is in your tubs, or in grain jars and I've proven that to be false.

That is a bit like asking "what cube is this".
Which pan cultures do you have in circulation at the moment? The dark cap could be an indication, maybe bisp?
What I want to know: What substrate have you used in that tub? Looks like it was fruited at spawn with a top layer of substrate?

I had mold show up on plates many times, what would be interesting to know is whether it stays hidden when it is meshed in (if that even is a thing). Appreciate the experimentation for the greater good hindsight. Looking forward to your findings / write up

How long since cased and how long since first pins showed? Doesn't look bad so far and could turn out to be good, especially when all 4 tubs are doing the same thing at the same time.

Yea what he said, those. Thatβs interesting because Im growing buttons to, maybe they can be friends.
They grow the same as the other Pans. Iβm guessing, I havenβt found much on it.
Iβm sure people here will tell me if Iβm screwing up. Itβs my first try with this genus so please do.
Hereβs a picture of my lc I inoculated today from a recycled bottle I found.

Weβll see what she looks like in a a week.

anyone noticed the bruising delay on bisporus? takes longer than say the estero I've grown.. which is almost instant. Maybe bisporus contains much less psilocin and more psilocybin?

I've noticed the bruising delay though it seems to vary from one fruit to the next. The amount of blue bruising is not linked to the potency. That was a myth dispelled some time ago.

Baba they were spawned on the 14th, cased somewhere between 7 and 10 days after that and the first pins were noticed on the 28th.

Definitely looks like Bisporus. I hope you won't debate my ID skills again, at least at the genus level
And start properly labeling your stuff man FFS, I've literally never seen anyone with as many mislabels as you have.
