All the bisporus in here are awesome! Just started my hand at these this year. Been working them in unmodified tubs, finding them more forgiving than cyans. Got a couple that just started pinning today, hoping for a couple flushes before I leave town.. this was the result of my first attempts first flush.
That tub ended up flushing for like a month until I finally dumped it outside in the garden, today I found the first two fruits out there!
Been really loving these guys, very strong but don’t lock me down like cyans, they’ve been making me get my ass up and do shit all day.

Nice work krikeng! That's a really stellar flush, and the fact that you did it in a monotub is even more amazing. Very nice!

Wow I love all the eye candy! Absolutely stunning. I sure hope so Adas, so far so good, nice fruits man, I have 5 bisporus jars almost ready for substrate 99% colonized, just waiting to see everything fluff a bit, shook them a second time a few days ago.

Kirk, that is absolutely sick! Amazing for a first attempt! I gotta do a unmod tub grow sometime! Now that I've got some better TEK (see my journal for those interested) it should finally work.
I agree they give me a lot of energy and want to move around, which is atypical for any mushroom, esp in the first phase. However in my last experience, later this hyped phase faded and I actually became super comfortable and even a bit sleepy/spacey. But it's what my body needed - a relief from all that stress. I'd compare it a bit to opioid euphoria, just way better, obviously.

Thanks ya’ll. Definitely try a tub Adas! I found bisporus to be much more forgiving in tubs than cyans. I’m hesitant to call a favorite but these are definitely up there for me, partially the experience and partly aesthetics. There just beautiful all around and the smell, it’s almost like anise really dig. Got clones from that tub on grain currently so excited to see how they perform.

A Panaeolus cyanascens var Peace River jar has stalled on me. It has been like this for a month. It stalled a few days after breaking and shaking. Is this jar a no go? I have another jar that's fully colonized and was thinking about separating them into smaller containers... But what do y'all think?

I find that common in many pan cyan varieties, if you shake them too close to full colonization. Where "too close" is, I can't say because it isn't consistent. It's a bit of a gamble, but bottom line is that if I felt my agar was clean and I don't see any obvious contam signs in the jar, I will send the jar to substrate. Usually it works great. I don't see any completely bare grains in that jar (maybe one). No wet grains either. I would send that jar. Besides, you don't have anything other than some cheap substrate to lose.

Hmmm... have you shaken it a second time? did that with bisporus and estero. ------- for the pan lovers, I noticed some weird formalities with the fruits.. i didn't want to litter this thread with my issues so made a separate thread. Not sure it's something I can do about it.. but please help if you can tell what's wrong here: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27843410#27843410

EDIT UPDATE - day 4 since pins: today they look already more pale.. is it normal for the gills to be protruding like this? Some almost appear like a jellyfish... apart from that they are not so tall.. is this normal? Noob questions.. but hopefully someone will chime in.
And I notice fuzzy feet.. I think a lack of fresh air?
UPDATE:
Decided to make some better pictures.. as this is crap. Anyway.. I noticed that the sides were pulling away and the top layer seemed dry. so I decided to syringe water them.. carefull not to accidently drown the pins. Probably hit a few though..
I noticed outside that the stems are already coloring green/blue.. maybe to much ventilation? Maybe that is causing the bending and blueing? Also seems like some pins aborted.
The ventilator is at a 1m distance.. on for 30min every 1,5 hours. Honeywell ventilator, lowest setting, just a gentle breeze. Some beter pictures:

Made a big mistake.. noticed the timer was on 0.5h per hour.. so that must have been overkill and dried out the substrate. Changed it 0.5h per 2 hours.
Here is damage... I'll harvest tomorrow. Hand watered them again as I noticed some cracked caps.

Hey 0tOlerance.
Try to turn the fan down to 2-5min every 1-2 houres. You just ned to refresh the air not out drying you shrooms and casing. It really dont look so dry except the light colors on the caps. If you grow in a jmc chamber you really dont need fanning the air Pump should be enough. Good luck with the next flush.

Thank you for your reply Mycosmith. Yes, I need a different timer indeed. I'll order one.
Havesting ended up in a war field, I've harvested everything pins included, as these things are so fragile. I'll sharpen my knife a bit too, as it was chopping away stuff stipes just broke off making a big mess. A well.. I'll do a 2.5gr trip tomorrow.. need to blast off again.. has been half a year. Drying the bits and pieces as we speak..
(4.5 hours later...)
EDIT:
the oven sled is pinning everywhere.. so hopefully this growth will look more like it;

Ok so maybe try Without the fan this round and see if make any difference. And when you harvest just use a scissor and only clip of the mature shrooms. It's ok to let the littel peice of stem stay back. It dont gives contaim problems.

Yes, a scissor is a great suggestion, didn't consider that. Unfortunately I have to postpone the trip, my daughter got ill.
EDIT: ordered a few surgical scissors, also installed an appropriate timer; ventilation set to 5min every 2 hours (lowest setting). Some more porn:
Syringe watered them as I noticed the sides were retracting a bit, apart from that the water level in the jcm dropped pretty quick, that is something I need to top up a bit more frequent as it's more moist the closer to the water level.

Yes scissors are good for Panaeolus and sclerotia producer fruits harvest my favorites are this kind of scissors (saw them mostly in Asia)
0t0 yes syringes watering can be useful (I do it frequently on my cakes as their shape is often resulting in fast drying)

Yeah, I notice I'm struggling with the temperature swings in the shed. When it's colder the entire JCM FC lid is covered in water droplets which then fall down back onto the fuits.. the entire substrate is soaked. I've reduced the fanning to 2 min/1,5h.. instead of 5min/2h to improve stability. Decided to stick with this ventilation schedule.. seems to be the closest to what is adviced in the thread and only restict airflow of the holes in the lid when needed.. e.g. micropore
Therefore I've enlarged the holes in the lids (1cm).. unfortunately the plastic cracked everywhere.. too bad, it doesn't have to look pretty. I'll watch the fruits and substrate closely and adjust accordingly.
Maybe I'll just get 3 plates of plexiglass. drill 6mm, 8mm, 10mm holes. much faster to adapt to the level of condensation.
EDIT: purchased some plexi, seems like a quick fix. Could also stack the plates with 1cm holes for wider or narrower gap.. but that would invite mold/moisture between the plates.. not fond of that.
