I've seen a lot of people using the half pint wide mouth jars lately, that's what I'll be using (with plastic lids and 1/4" GE hole covered with a piece of SFD).
My PC time will be 20 minutes at 15 psi (along with the Q-tips), then reduce the heat SLOWLY. This should result in very minimal condensation on the sides of the glass jar. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
I think you missed my point.
I meant the petri dishes.
I use an old snapple bottle for my agar that's glass, but I'm not too worried about that.

Do it!!! Most people that try pans say that the potency is consistently very high at the 1 gram level, MS or not. The experience is supposed to be cleaner, more visual, and more "natural" feeling than cubes with almost no body load. I don't mind putting in the extra time/effort, if the end result is an experience that people have described as very LSD-like. Never gonna be able to find acid around where I live, so I guess pans are the next best thing!

Panaeolus is far more superior than LSD.. esp. cambodginiensis. IMO/E anyway.

Are you thinking the two jars on the right look slightly bacterial?

I can see the bacterial ones have a chunky cottage cheese like appearance and seem to leave a lot of grains uncolonized. The healthy jars seem to have all the grains covered my a light network of mycelium with minimal blotching. Thanks guys, now I know what to look out for when I have some jars colonizing.

Only one way to find out...
I'd spawn the questionable jars to a mini mono or perhaps a dub tub. I've heard the small 6 qt ones work well.
Have you ever tried those Fox?

Could I take the same tek as the first post and replace the horse manure with composted cow manure and have a successful grow?
