These are the first fruits I have harvested in over a month I think. For a while, all my cult time went into building my flow hood and that damn thing took over a month to finish and get sorted. I wasn't streaking plates or making spawn during that time so I ended up in a place where everything I had going fruited and I was left with empty shelves and an empty tent. Now I keep finding myself sitting on jars that are 100% consolidated for 1-2 weeks because I don't have time to pasteurize substrate or spawn trays. I know JOC has said he gets subpar results from spawning jars that were allowed to sit 1+ weeks past 100% colonization but am curious what your experiences have been with this? I know over on the stone producer thread, a lot of people are leaving their spawn jars for weeks or months before fruiting and still get great flushes. I realize this could be specifically because of the survival mechanism of stone producers, but I personally haven't noticed lack-luster fruiting of pans or cubes when letting my jars sit 1-3 weeks beyond full colonization. However, I haven't done any true experiments on it where I create a couple jars from the same clone and fruit one right at full colonization and fruit the other three weeks later and compare results.
Hey Hindsight that's the nicest bisp tray I've seen, just awesome!! I looks just like mine. Except with about 100 more fruits.

It’s interesting to think about how few people EVER in all of the existence of mankind have seen a Bisporus tray like that or really even most of the pan pics on this thread

damn.. see some grand bisporus flushes in this thread; congtats.. bisporus is by far my favorite to consume right next to libery caps.. these things are soo potent, and they kick right in. i took a clone of a white bisporus and a black bisporus.. pulled from this tray. the clone on the tiny stem part was hard, but i finally got it with thin scrapes.
in my experience.. 1.5 grams of a strong ape = 1 gram of bisporus. bisporus seem to have better effects.

SSLC, you'll love it.
Hey Crack, if I am not mistaken from the photos I have seen, you tend to grow like me in that you do a high number of small grows of many genetics as opposed to a small number of large grows (IE many different cakes or smallish trays vs a few giant monos). If that is correct, I am curious as to where you find LC useful? I've always liked the idea of LC and I've dabbled with it here and there but because I'm always changing genetics (trying to stabilize things or simply trying new varieties/species all the time), I've just never found a use for LC and instead always end up going A2G. Same goes for G2G - just never found a use for it with my type of growing. Curious to get your thoughts on how you apply it and what you like about it. Thanks in advance!
Yeah, that's pretty much what I do. Some I'll keep around longer than others. Some just get a couple tubs. I'll use LC instead of a wedge sometimes. I'll usually knock up 1 with agar and 4 with an LC, I'll keep an LC around long after I'm done with the tubs of it just in case I wanna go back and groe it again. I G2G quite a bit too. I'll use 1 jar to knock up 10-12 jars for 5-6 15qt tubs and by then I'm done with it. I like using LC out of its speed too. The fastes LC i've ever used was a yeast only. I meant to go back and experiment with it going head to head with a LME LC but life and new stuff came along.

Thanks for the all awesome advice here!
Just returned from panland and it's a wonderful place. Been slowly sampling these, but decided to go "big".
2g was basically my standard trip. Guess that makes me a hard head.

Awesome thanks Crack. I will have to try LC again - especially the thick version. I haven’t had the fast colonization others have had with LC but I’m sure it’s just because I haven’t played with it enough.

Looks like you got some healthy shrooms.
One thing I had a problem with at first was casing them too soon and having them colonize it. Not really a big deal cuz they still grew fine but it definitely seems to help my pinsets when I get the timing right.

I let these consolidate for 10 days, I got 1 still consolidating. It's 20ish days. I'm gonna case today. Is there a min substrate depth? I'm trying coir/manure/straw next these are manure/straw/verm.

No minimum that I know of but I’ve never gone below 1.5”. Had good success with that depth but 3-3.5” depth is much better. Not my idea but I tried it and haven’t gone back since.

Is that probably why your Bisporus are so meaty? Mine are small boiis but they are only in a cup of spawn/substrate at like 1.25”. I did one at .5” and it’s not even doing anything haha

Tough for me to equate fruit size to depth because I have been using a 3-4" depth for many months now after JOC mentioned that is what he was using. I don't think I grew bispos until after switching to the deeper sub depth so probably can't compare. From a pan cyan standpoint, I'm not sure the fruits are bigger, but the flushes are often fuller. Not always though - the lucy pans in my sig was a nice solid flush off a 1.5" depth.
