Knocked them up a few days ago. Sterilised cow manure, dog food, wheat bran, rye, coffee and vermiculite inoculated with pan trops LI. I noticed  some recovery in a couple of them this morning.

I plan to grow pan. tropicalis in jars according the "Bottle Tek".

What do you think of this mixture:

2 parts hpoo
1 part vermiculite
1 part straw (from pellets)

I want to add 1 tbsp gypsum and 2 tbsp BRF for every half pint jar.

What do you think of this mixture? Would you change anything?

I also have wheat bran, would the pans benefit from this?

Looks good. Just be mindful of your sub depth in those bottles. Pans like a thin sub. Like 2". That's why I'm doing my pan bottles in these.

Yeah. I use those for agar. They're only about a quarter inch deeper than the bigger ones I'm using for pans.

Only a quarter inch?  Cool.  Must be my old eyes.  It looked much shallower to me.

How do the trays work?  Do you spawn them or directly innoc them?

I directly inoculated them with LI. They are composted cow manure, rye, wheat bran, coffee, dog food and vermiculite. This is my first time using them. So I'm jot sure how they will work. I did somthing similar with margarine containers a while back and it worked well. So my hopes are high.
