those barkland florida pans so far have been the easiest pan cyans for me to fruit..right behind goliath and bisporus for ease of cultivation..prolific fruiters

Hello guys
Im very confused by something, please shed some light here. Is Panaeolus Cyanescens the same species as Panaeolus Cambodginiensis or whats the difference between the two? Are them the same species and named differently because of the place they grow or? Is a Pan a Pan like a Cube is A Cube?
From where my question? I have seen the strain Goliath Suphanburi listed on some spore vendor web sites as Pan Cyan and on some other as a Pan Cam and this leaded me to be very confused about the differences between pans and cambs.
Thanks in advance for the clear up! Cheers.

Does casing keep moisture/humidity in? Is that why we case? The sides are also drying out. Should I put this in an sfgc right away after casing?

Casings keep the substrate from drying and they provide surface humidity which is ideal for knot formation.

I just picked up a bunch of these. I figure they should work well for making pan bottle subs. I've got germination on one of my pan trops plates l. I should be able to give them a shot pretty soon.

Pan cyan and Pan cam are 2 different species, cambodginiensis was originally found in cambodia

Hi all.
Do you guys remember my shitty looking tray from a week+ ago??
I have got pins in it !!!! So so happy I know they are not perfect and are growing on the microclimate rim parts, but you know, what the hell, it's my first indoor grow ever. I will try better next time. Thanks to all of you for this thread. Special thanks to mary fairchild for a link to the grow log. Helped me a lot.

Good work man!
Did you germinate the spores on agar? If so how many transfers have you made?
Or did you just inoculate straight to grain?

This was a 3rd transfer I think. I have don total of 7 so far. I did jars with rye/hpoo/straw from 4 best looking cultures. I had to stop transferring due to lack of time.

I have done it on tuesday. The same time I packed 5 wedges from each dish to Eppendorf Tubes. So each jar and every tube is labeled with dish number and every jar will be fruited on single tray and the best fruiting strain will be selected for further work. How does it sound?

that bisporus is looking great peteyboy...it will always be wispy until you get it to straw/manure and in fruiting mode, then it will thicken up
