Hey Mr. Giggles
When i was looking for a fogger i fall over this taraium on sale. I wanted to go Small an this is 30x30x45cm and is made with som pasiv air flow in the front under the door. The top is fuld open with a fine metal mesh. The half of the top i coveret with a plexi-glass plate under the lamp and allmost another 1/4 of the top is covert with a 3D printet plante made for holding the pipe from the fogger. Over the rest of the net is a littel 12v fan (80x80mm) turned down a 6v. The fan is running 4min 8 times spred Even from 8 at the Morning to 10 at the evening. The fogger is running 5min 4times a day at 9-13-17-21 a clock. Under the taraium is a 8w heating mat that keep it around 24-25c and indside the taraium at the bottom is a tray with perlite and water. I ajust the fogger If it is to wet or dry. Yes the shelf i have made My self ass My name said im a Smith.

It looks pretty cool, reminds me of that new automated chamber that came out recently, Melo or something like that. I was thinking of converting one of those into a FC. I have one about the same size, maybe a a little larger that is just a glass tank, no doors unfortunately. I think I've seen them with the vents on the sides, idk if it would help to cut holes in the glass or not. Does it seem to get enough FAE? I looked at some of your pics, you seem to be getting things dialed in.

I've had them take 2-3 weeks at the longest. A good strong culture that has been allowed to consolidate long enough will fruit inside a week. 1-2 weeks is common for me.

Hey giggles
I think the pasiv fae help alot an the fogger just help so i dont have to mist every day. If you just have a normal fish tank i AM thinking about set it on side so its stand as a tower with the old top of the tank as a open front. You Can Then build a New front of plexi-glas with a crak (Small oppening) in the top and bottom for ventilate. And put on a fan and a fogger. The biggest reason to i use this is that i live in a apartment and this is the most quiet way. If i was living in a house i Will just go with the Jmc or is it jcm champer.

That's a tough one. It doesn't look like you cased it. You should do that. But looking at the sub, it's not really what I'm used to seeing. That mycelium is thick, very dense, and not evenly covered across the substrate surface, and it looks like there may be a mold patch across the bottom middle (that very slight powdery looking area). You want to see a fairly even wispy white coverage. Somewhat like this:

I dunno whether it's the photo quality but there's something that looks a little off with that.

Hey Zifo Is this the one I was referring to as "Mystery Coast"? If so let me check in with JCM - quite a while back he passed a sample on to someone who could look into the genetics and also do microscopy work.

Double post... Jake
I'm aiming this at you.
I think it was JCM who told me that you had taken a close look at RDU and determined that it was a Pan Tropicalis.
Am I remembering that correctly?

Harvested the (very) Wild Coast this morning. They were having a myco orgy mosh pit in there! A few more upstanding types watching from the edge….

Wow those are gnarly looking. Not sure I've grown any pans that had that kind of shape going on. They look very cool.
