Interesting - I've never heard of those or looked into them. How do they compare in potency and chemical make-up to pan cyans? Guessing they aren't something I could get from a vendor and would need to trade for in the marketplace instead?

A few members here grow them. My old culture couldn't really fruit indoors tho, so now I have a new print from ChocolateMilk. I hope this one does better.
They have comparable potency to Pan Cyans. Maybe even the same. Some people report that the effects are more gentle, and from my VERY limited experience, that might be true.

When’s the right time to start an outdoor wavy cap patch? Autumn? Bear in mind I’m in the UK - wavy cap is a native species I believe, and we have a similar climate to The Netherlands.

If I'm running bisporus at 77-79 is that why it won't fruit? I've got a print so this should be genetically diverse.
How much lower temps are we talking here? I thought they had pretty much the same parameters as cyans but were just a tiny bit more tolerant to colder temps.

They are A LOT more tolerant to colder temps, however I don't think they dislike normal temps. Some strains are notoriously difficult to fruit indoors and there's probably nothing you can do about it.

Estero (left) and Texas (right). Everything but the strains are same (both inoculated from prints at the same time, both smell great, incubated next to each other in FC for 10 days now).

Any idea on what the discrepancy might be? Also, do those look like fuzzy feet? Not enough FAE?

To me the potency seemed to be on the same level but with a nice body buzz. Made me feel "fluffy" and cozy. Hard to put in words. I buried some sub in my outdoor green house and they fruited when it was around 10C at night. I was really surprised by that. Also they tolerate a lot more water than cyans. My fruiting chamber was having heavy condensation and it was literally raining in the trays. I had to drain them once or twice a day.

The "fluffy and cozy" could be a good description. I personally have only tried them once, at 0.5g, at that dose there was like no body load, but what was peculiar was the fact that I couldn't tell if I was already coming up at first. I clearly felt some "swirling" and something changing, but there was zero come-up anxiety, no body tensions, nothing of that sort. So I was kinda confused for a couple minutes, felt like a comeup without a comeup.

Yes they can be harder to fruit indoor but bispo mycelium is strong and can outcompete others in my greenhouse they grown all summer last year and again this year:
Potency is really good I would say as Pan cyan too.. Printed few of them:
you can send a PM or wait a bit I will send probably hundred of them to the Free Spore Espana in the next days to share them without spending to much time and stamp on the marketplace..

Damn, WL, my jaw literally dropped! Those prints are GORGEOUS!
I'm also considering dontaing spores like that at some point. Is Free Spore Espana good? Does Free Spores Europe still exist?

I didn’t used FSRE since years but they were less responsive than FSEspana so now I send them print to share when I don’t have enough time to do it myself or too much to spread

Asura said: This is basically what I do for casing now. 50/50 and then make up a gallon of water with 6g lime. Bring to field capacity. Easy peasy.
Thank you for this! I had not needed to use casing for any cube grows, so my pan attempts are my first experience with it. I was trying to piece together how much lime I should be using from various teks but so many of them just say to "add a pinch" or some other amount that just seemed too inexact. I have PH test strips but can never get them to read right when measuring casing. My first tray I cased with 50:50 that I added a big "pinch" of hydrated lime to and the tray is just sitting there for a week with no signs of anything. 4 days later I did as you describe above (6g to a gallon) for two new trays I had, and already just two days after casing them, I'm seeing growth and signs of pre-pinning. I think I'm going to finally get my indoor pans now!

Looking good! Is that 3rd pic PHV? What about the last two, what strain is that? I love how the caps have some dimples that look like melted wax. I used to see pictures of caps that look like that, but haven't seen them lately.
This picture of a Jam Cambo is from Ryche's site. I always wondered if it was genetics or environment that caused them to grow like this. They are on my list to obtain someday!

I never knew what they were called, but yeah, I want some that do that! I agree, I think it's beautiful in a scary kind of way. I'm foolishly imagining, (more wishing), that the look of the cap influences the kind of visuals one could experience. I know that's not the case, but I daydream anyway.
I'll see how my Peace River Floridas do this round. I haven't seen any pictures of them doing it, but time will tell.
