I'm back in the land of the internet, never posted the second flush of my necd pot!

Going to fire up some prints and have another go at some of the pans that have given my trouble thus far.
Just to add to this quickly, if people remember the first flush had crazy fuzzy feet, this second one had none.

I acquired many prints yes. Seems like your caps need to open up more, maybe wait one or two more days. But yes there are mush which won't produce spores.

Nice looking fruits guys! I feel I'm really close to getting my first indoor pan fruits. 1 tray will hopefully pin any day now and I have two more that are now ready to case which I will do later today.
Also, here are all my MS germination plates - all pans. Seven different varieties. Oddly, the only plates that didn't germinate were the two subtropicalis ones. I will try that spore print a second time and get more aggressive with the amount of spores I get on my loop. But I do have visible spores on the agar. Maybe these are just slow germinators.

22A is Huasteca and 19A is British Virgin Islands. I've never grown any pans prior to my current attempts at Gulf Coast Florida, so I'm excited see how all these compare and if they get me through some stumbling points I've had with the Florida variety. From the pics I've seen on the forum here, Huasteca appears to be a great producer of decent sized fruits. BVI I'm not so sure about. Seems like I've heard mixed reviews about it.
The complete list is BVI, Rainbow Eucalyptus, Goliath, Huasteca, Subtropicalis, NecD, and Alabama.

My outdoor beds keep producing and getting increasingly dense. I've already harvested some and am drying them now. Will be interesting to see how much total weight I get when the beds are done.

This is just great

How much LC do you guys recommend for inoculating supplemented substrate? I was thinking around 30ml/qt.
I followed Asura's recipe but used oats as the grain and added a little extra water as it was quite dry with the recommended 1600ml. I decided to PC them in Ziploc PP5 containers and will be spreading the big quart size out into trays and fruiting the smaller ones directly from their containers like the "Pan-cake" Tek.

I don't have a real answer but I'm excited to see the jars you fruit as jars. I've been thinking about running Asura's recipe in pots for a while. Just haven't had the motivation to do it yet as McMderdin's pan-cakes have been doing a great job so far.

That's pretty much what I do, I've just been using a propgator lid that is much bigger than the tub. I have it at an angle so any condensation runs off and doesn't drip onto the grows. The lid does have two smallish vents in it though which I tend to open or close based on how I'm feeling that day. I'd like to say there was some rhyme or reason behind it but if I'm honest I just do it semi randomly.

good deal man glad to hear everything is workin out for ya guys👍 although it sounds like u just need to regulate ur room temp closer to the temp of the fc and that will really cut down on that moisture beading on the lid. but the holes ate there for a bit more of a reson than that. they are mainly for the air to be pushed up and out the top as new air is pumpd in from the bottom. i promise u will notice a difference in the size of your fruits with that extra fae. i get very little beading on my lids. my room temp is very close to the fc temp a d the tiny bit that i do get i jusg lift the lids off in a flat upward slow motion and move it away from the fc and tilt it and wipe it with a paper towel. its never even been an issue for me.

Yeah fair comment! Regulating the temp in my house is next to impossible, it's a very old building and the window frames don't seal much.
I've been making these sort of ghetto bubble wrap lids for my shoe boxes when fruiting cubes, I might try and make a slightly fancier one for my pan FC that will allow this upwards movement of air that you talk about.

Thanks, it was fun while it lasted but it’s already over. Unfortunately the weather changed and it looks like the change is permanent for the season so this bed is done. It’s a shame because it was just getting started. Only 20% of the area had fruited and tons of little fruits were starting to form on the other 80%. From what I experienced, to grow outside you need night time temps to stay above about 68-70F and day time temps can be 70’s to 90’s so long as there’s adequate rain and humidity. I just wish I would have started the outdoor bed a month earlier. Someone flipped the fall switch overnight and now night time temps are in the 50’s as far out as the forecast goes. Might get lucky with a few days of warmer temps but I doubt it. Next year I will start much earlier and with larger beds now that I know it works so well. Probably May through September. Meanwhile I’ll keep working on my indoor stuff.

Don't worry man, you can do this with Bisporus next time. Not only can they fruit at MUCH colder temperatures, the mycelium survives winter! Source: It survived winter in one of my flowerpots and fruited unexpectedly in Spring. We got down to -15C in winter.
