Ballsacks went through 4 estero swabs and got only mold.
Guess I'll dip into my wildcoast swabs/prints.

ya covwrs its never really wise in my opinion to let any plates that ur planning on using as as source of inoculant ti get anywhere near that big. the closer u get to the edges the higher chances u have of pickin up an unwanted hitch hiker. its just good practice is all

Well life has got in the way of this grow.
The WCRS was throwing out a bunch of twisty, retard mushrooms, and the necd was just starting to pin.
The WCRS was slowling building up a hald decent pin set, but I'm having to stop the grow.
I'll go back to drawing board with both of these when I get a better chance.

Woah, nice to see pans growing like that, did you just roll the cakes in peat to case? Is FAE passive or have you got something managing it?

Thanks, i should to do a write up one day but not English speaker so harder to describe well, maybe next time I can take few pics when prepare it. I put a tube in my jars to fill the interior with a Hpoo millet and hemp straw mix and around with 50/50, sterilized and then inoc in the center (polyfil filter) before I did only passive FAE but for this run I try with a fogger from outside to inside at minimum power 15min/hour still small & really simple setup (Not good way for high yield but efficient enough to observe and print few specimens)

Yeah those cakes look really cool with pans all over.
Your English is seriously better than a lot of Americans I know, don’t worry about that.

Hey Pan crew! I'm *finally* getting around to growing some pans. A few days ago I plated up some Wild Coast, Nec-D and Jambos. So far I have germination on Nec-D and the Jambo plates! I'm looking forward to this adventure. The last time I grew pans was circa 2010 when I did a small Pan. cambo. Sandoze & Goliath grow. There is *a lot* more information these days in no small part to you fellas!
Here are my germ plates (please excuse my crappy bubbly agar):

Fear is the little death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” - Bene Gesserit Litany Against Fear

Macmerdin's pan-cake substrate with a half cup straw and quarter cup water added to the original ratios. These can be treated like grain jars and shaken, rather than like cakes and waiting. I would not recommend spore solution for inoculation, only LC, LI, agar, or g2g
Both inoculated with pan. Bisporus LC on 8/13, 11 days ago.

The jar on the left was shaken as soon as LC recovery was apparent(stripe of myc down the side of the jar where injection was fired). It was shaken again 1 day after recovery was apparent from the first shake.
The jar on the right was shaken two days ago, after the mycelium was grown out long enough for me to feel confident that it appears axenic.
The left jar will probably be fully colonized within 24 hours.

That's pretty cool.
Are you planning on laying it to trays once colonized?
I love how many methods are being tested. Between them all, one should be able to find a method that works well for them.

Yes, basically the Asura method except in jars instead of bags.
I will lay this to 1q flat rectangle Chinese food containers, leave the lid on loose until recovery is apparent, then case with pasteurized peat/verm. Will post updates here for sure.

The Trich kicked in, plus I have to leave for vacation anyway, but hey, it's not nothing. Love these Florida Pans! I'm actually surprised I even got anything. Had to stick them in the fridge for 2 weeks, after taking them out they had to finish colonizing and of course water pooled at the bottom creating a mess.

Also, BIG thanks to ChocolateMilk for his Bisporus and Rainbow Eucalyptus prints. Grows coming sometime soon-ish.
