I still haven’t dosed very high with pans but the extreme visuals with no mental aspect is my favorite part.

Not so much fogginess, I feel lucid on cubes even. Less body load was nice, but I'm used to the last hours of most trips being a great time to work through personal issues and get introspective.

Pans completely shut off my default mode network. Not a thought at all. Everything is just experienced as it really is...pure consciousness...but with some extra shit like dudes walking up out of the floor.

Hey everyone, I have a quick question regarding my first pan Cambo grow that I am currently fruiting..
How wet should the 50/50 casing layer be visually speaking? I have three trays and the casing layer seems to be plenty wet, but I can't really tell because I don't get to see the droplets forming on the mycelium like usual (cased and put into FC immediately), so I am uncertain of how much to mist my trays.

Get it soaking wet and then let it evaporate. When evaporation start to happen knots will form and soon you see pins. When the pins are about 1 cm tall start watering the casing with a syringe. And keep it wet till harvest. After harvest givi it a hard mist and repeat the circle.

So basically when it is at the point it is at in my photo I should be misting/adding water to the sub?
And so I kinda want to simulate a rainfall that saturates the soil, and then kick on the exhaust afterwards to evaporate? I was thinking if I saturate it, it wouldn't breathe well enough. but maybe periods of saturation are required?

Oh nice thanks for that pic. I've probably been on the dry side then.. seems like I've been thinking I need more evaporation than I actually do.
I live in southern AZ and so basically a desert climate with extremely dry air/little rainfall. That may be a big factor here that I didn't consider enough.

I’m in the same climate and a reptile fogger was crucial for me.

Damn I tell ya most all the info online regarding growing anything at all, plant or fungi, isn't based in my climate lol..
I have my trays in a shadowbox style FC so it is maintaining pretty good humidity, but I can't be sure I'm actually achieving 95% RH either because the meter I have sits around 85% even with my little mini humidifier flowing in for a good 30-45 mins, and it is a decent Meade sensor and is probably right considering my climate (AC kicks on very often throughout a day when it's over 100 out), but I'm not sure it's calibrated.
How often and how long are you fogging your chamber to maintain humidity?

I’d have to check it’s been a long time since I dialed it in and then just haven’t touched it. I think it’s something like on for 2 mins off for 15.
Being in such a dry climate makes it really hard with species that need tons of fresh air.

Got it. Thank you greatly.
What style FC are you using with this method? I was hoping the shadowbox method would allow me to cut out the humidifier, but I may just have to invest in a fogger and repeat timer after all..

I would go with jcms chamber.
With the fogger I basically open air fruit shoeboxes with a sheet of plastic arched over them and the fog going under it. It’s not super efficient

Hey guys. Today I got my first pan pin ever

It's Panaeolus Tropicalis. So small! Thanks to all who helped me achieving this.
Plenty more knots around it, waiting to see how the flush fills out.
Any tips? The casing is really damp, humidity is around 96.5% thats all really. Giving plenty of FAE, its JCM's setup

Pan Aussies:
First of the first flush finishing! Not a single Red mutation on entire tray of RDU? Lc. sooo just gonna call them aussies now.Cut many of the convexed fruits this morning after pic was taken.
Pan bisporus:
First flush bispie kinda stunted looking IMO. but also first tray of this species I've gotten to fruit. This lil tray could have used more water. right after this pic was taken I saw spores start coloring the stems. so I think they maxed out what they got.
