O God of Panaeolus! I recently traveled with NecD within 2 dried grams. This is a really super cool hybrid! All I knew about riding the panaeolus was walking under the Moon. Now it's my favorite variety. Jake has a million karmas in all his births. I experienced the most powerful shocks and super-visions.I do not regret at all that I tested it on such a dose-cool cool cool!

One thing I'm still a little unsure about is at what point during colonization do you case?

With jambos you wait until the entire surface looks like a pillowy cloud. Usually 24-36 hours after visual 100% colonization

I can't believe how fast my Jambo myc is recovering just one day after shaking!
Is it wise or necessary to let pan grain spawn consolidate before spawning? I usually leave my cubes a week past 100% in the jar.

10 days after casing and it looks exactly the same like it did right after casing. Guess I can book another total fail.
No difference between the one in a mono @rt and the one in automated fc @26°C
This was a practice run anyway, bc I've never been able to get the 'fast & whispy' type of mycelium I just used the best looking two dishes but they took three weeks to colonize the jars.
Then I let it colonize for 10 days and it looked like this before casing

Guess it's back to the drawing board.

oh my bad i see now i misread that.
still i believe u have other issues at handbif they are taking that long. if u like i can send u another print and u can try that but i doubt thats the issue either as ive never had anyone ever have an issue with not getting fruits from a print after that many tries.

Yeah it must be me bc Ive tried with many different prints. So thank you for the offer but I've still got some prints left and some fresh prints from the growkit I resorted to. Never ever have I seen the elusive whispy myc though, nor have I ever had any Pan myc grow faster than cubes so I'm definitely doing something wrong.
Been working with premade agar dishes before but I'm switching to home poured lme in hopes of getting better agar dishes. Hope that is the issue bc Idk what else it can be. The one time I did get some fruits, some 2 yrs ago was when I tried Asura's method of lc to sub in bag. Ironically that kinda worked while at that time, I didn't know what I was doing at all.
Back to spores it is.

First pan pins ever. Don't roast me yet٫ got alot of different pan tubs in the works to see how they react to different ratios of mix٫ humidity٫ and airflow in my growroom. these are just the first 2 cakes to pin so there will be more to judge later👌 All Pan Cyan Austrailia so far٫ these first projects are from a swab to Agar to Lc to MacMerdin's Pan-cake recipe pf style jars 2 Weeks to colonize 100% the one that's pinning in this pic was cut 50/50 with coir as a test. the one on the left that has not pinned yet is 100% MacMerdin pan cake mix. Grow set up in this pic is a SGFC within another tub with a water resovoir and a heat mat underneath. Tried under my t5s like the heat lamp style set up٫ but that was too intense٫ getting light from window now. inoculated 4/27 Spawned 5/9

This is one of the 32oz zip lock containers with 1 MacMerdins cake no coir or bulk cut٫ just cake crumbled rehydrated and cased at full colonization.(all containers opened and fanned everyday many times.) inoculated 4/27 spawned 5/9

Don't want to be 2 cocky posting this٫ just very happy to see first pan pins and starting to feel the pan game out. Major props to everyone on here that helped to make this happen fr.

Every single time I’ve let pan spawn sit for even a few days past 100% before spawning it went badly. I think it’s important to spawn the jar ASAP.

Thanks! Time to pasteurize some substrate and put together that JCM FC. Exciting! If I get even 1g dried this first time, I'll be very pleased!

Yes pans adhere to a very tight schedule they move in seven day increments for the most part seven days to colonize the plate seven more to colonize the jar seven more to colonize the bulk, You cant put their rotation off a week cuz you went on vacation or something
