Question about dehydrating the fruit. Is there any reason to be any more delicate with them and temps/time? Or should I just treat them like cubes?
A good device, i need to implement mower! You need to dry the mushroom quickly, in a dryer and at a high temperature-65-70 degrees celsius. The faster, the better.By time-dry from 2 to 5 hours, depending on the volume occupied.

the only thing i can say is that the more bubbles the better. pans love air. i mean u dont want giant ass splashing all over the place eating taco bell and farting in the pool bubbles😂😂 just follow the setup with the amount of stones and pumps and configure them with the Ts as shown and ul be fine. the whole point of my setup is that u dont really have to do jack shit with it other than add water as needed and maybe turnin ur lights on and off if ur not using a timer. 👍👍👍👍👍
ya aka i also love turnin someone onto pans for the first time. i just sit there waiting for that phone call the next mornin lol they are always blown away

Thank you JCM I have a heavy duty air pump for weed but one stone can make a tsunami yo! I have to go back to the home depot they have the JCM approved tubs but way up on the shelf in a box somewhere.
RR said pans took him to some dark places but I've seen a lot of reports of people calling AKA and JCM the next morning blown away lol.

My finals are almost over for this semester which means I can finally start playing with Pans! Will someone please take the time to look over my process before I start?
I'll be running the jcm FC
I have horse turds (aged and shredded) Straw (chopped the fuck up with a hedge trimmer) Sub will be mixed 35% turd 65% straw by weight (JOC tek) Peat & Verm (50/50 for casing - JOC tek)
My plan - grow the light/wispy myc on agar -> knock up 1 quart of oats Spawn to 4 quarts pasteurized (and field capacity) poo/straw sub into a lasagna tray Cover and allow to colonize for a week-ish and case (very thin layer) Place into FC and wait
I know this is a very 'crude' writeup, but am I missing anything blatantly obvious? Thanks for all the help! I can't wait to join the ranks

working on similar plan instead of horse turd using cow manure and less spawn. unless TC's and triptrippy gives us more home work its a solid plan

I've pieced my 'plan' together based on Asura, jcm and JOCs teks. I know beginners shouldn't improvise but I'm essentially just taking JOCs spawn method and fruiting in a jcm FC
I've been told time after time 1:4 is the ratio to work with so that's what I'm doing. I have no knowledge about cow poo, but you might need more straw because of how efficiently the cows digest everything.
Best of luck to you and me both. I get the feeling this isn't going to be the first time 'success' story I had with cubes though

I use a bag of store bought steer manure and mix it 50/50 with chopped straw and spawn 1:4
I haven't deviated from that recipe because it worked from the beginning and that's what all the TCs were saying so I can't comment on any other ratios

i asked Asura, jcm and triptripy about the plan and they made it for me(nice people) also i never did casing layer, i showed them what i can get and they told me what to get and so far every thing is going well still on agar. but casing layer is one hell of thing for pan cyan(for beginners)
and they gave GO for cow pop just make sure its fluffy every thing for pany cyan has to be fluffy and has a lot of straw in mix and i could not find straw so next best thing is grass cuttings, can not wait for neighbors to go out i am going to do them a favor and cut their grass

pesa you can't go wrong following the advice of the good people in this thread. Tiptrippy you don't have any farms near you for some free manure? RR says you can store it in cardboard boxes for years after leeching.

I live in an area where I can drive about 20 mins and collect horse patties from wild roaming horses but it's not worth the hassle for me. I'd rather go with the store bought stuff to save time. My spare time is precious to me. If the store bought stuff didn't work then I would go foraging, yes.

I understand it's probably a lot more time consuming finding wild patties vs a stables and fields. My platoon has used Hoffman brand before. I thought horse was more preferred than cow but they both work fine.

Here are some more clusters comming up on the pan Alabama (bayou magik) tray, I guess I consider this the 2nd flush although really it’s been sending clusters up continuously although there have been 2 larger flushes with a few clusters in between.

Man I respect it, regardless. But I encourage to consider all the energy that went into packaging horse shit from likely hundreds (maybe even thousands) of miles away into plastic bags and thrown into gas guzzling vans then sent out to all different parts of the world. Meanwhile, there are horses 20 minutes from you that drop perfectly decent shits multiple times a day.
It's no hassle to collect either. Whether it's enjoying the hike it takes to collect it from literal wild horses, or interacting with the stable farmer that offered you their horse's shit, it'd probably be a good experience.
_______________
Jake, those are some mighty fine clusters there. I'd imagine we'll be seeing some clone grows from those
