Ah now no one mentioned the increased chance of contamination using that variation of protocol, but thanks for pointing that out. I had very good results doing that with galindoi (colinized corn to uncolinized corn) - but then again that is probably more resistant to contamination.

I have tried Asuras method. Also JCMs, and much advice given from Jake in his DMT interview (thanks so much for that)
Asura does some technical things to reach a high yield. If you don’t do them too, chances are you will have a wet bag.
Extra poo juice is my guess.
In my little experience, pasteurization has been hands down faster and by far less complicated. I’m kinda sold on it.

I haven't been able to screw up a pasteurization yet, there's nothing really to it.

nice work everyone! My pan jams are almost there

I'll probably harvest, print, and clone tonight or tomorrow morning.
I'll take some arty photos then as well.
My BVI clone is looking ready to lay out as well which I'm excited for!

I didn't think to take a pic before harvest, but the one tray came out to 156g and they are doing out now

JCM's pan jams harvested, printing, and clones taken. ~130g fresh.

Tried joc's tweezer clone tek, but I'm not very delicate. I think my cloning approach is purely luck based.

These were grown using McMerdin's pan-cake tek I've had a bunch of success with it so far. I kind of make last moment tweaks to the recipie based on nothing but what's to hand.
For this batch I added an extra 0.5 part chopped straw.
But it's a great, simple tek and has been giving me more pans than I need!
I'm about to start the ball rolling on what is my first successful (so far) clone ever. I took it from the only decent looking fruit from a pretty rubbish pan cyan BVI grow. I can't wait to see if something interesting comes from it.

Alright if you were to grow pans would you go for the traditional SGFC or a monotub? JCM has all the glory but the rest of us want some glory also. Yes we can? YES WE PAN!
