In my case it was clearly genetic. I ran clones and got the same phenotype. I also swabbed the gills to agar and ran that, and had the same sporeless phenotype.

You dudes are pantastic. Those pics of sporeless pans made me confirm what I was suspecting. Tbh I have zero interest in growing sporeless pans. I'm keen on growing pans from my own spores from generation to generation, that's much more fun I think. Also prints are good for trading.

Sporeless ones are fairly common with the rainbow euc pans

I had that happen to me on my first pan grow, only 5-10% of the fruits were affected and the rest was fine. I assumed it would be genetic and didn't think too hard about it as it didn't look like any disease, in fact the splitting mushrooms were quite happy otherwise and kept growing.
There are a few post about this here on this thread. Please share links if you find some.

Thanks yaga, aka said the same yesterday so I've just let them ride. A couple of them got black spots in their stipes so I picked them.
Do these look ready to harvest to you folk? The caps have lightened up but a lot of them dont look fully as open as some other pics I've seen.

Quite a few stipes are greying

...
What's up with bacterial pan cultures? I know with cubes sometimes you can run them and still get a worthy amount of fruits. Same with pans or is it a waste of my time?
My bacterial CFL spawned 48 hours ago. Not mixed very well and forgot to save some sub for a thin top layer

Dope. Yeah they're ripping through this sub way faster than any cube I've grown. Hopefully these uncolonized patches really are just poor mixing ha

Pans are more sensitive in general and will stall out for a multitude of reasons. I've had some stall out because of temps and bacteria. But like cron said, it's not a guarantee bacteria will cause a total loss

Yeah a percentage of pans are going to stall that’s why every time I start a new culture on green hi star test it basically you wait until it’s about 30% colonize then shake it if it doesn’t bounce back ditch the culture it failed the star test if it does bounce back then you can move forward with it as it will always recover from being shake (unless of course you contaminate) and will be a very good culture to work with

Ah, okay that helps. Well since this all I have for pans atm I'm gonna run it and see if I can at least get something. But for this Nec D I'll def send multiple cultures and only spawn the best 1 or 2. If I'm not mistaken that's also what jcm does
oh well you live and learn I guess. will definitely be more equipped for this 2nd pan run

I two weeks ago on Friday night I took .25g of jambos and didn't feel much so an hour later I took another .25g it was pretty good probably a level 2 trip. Extremely euphoric body high almost like molly.
Last night I decided to take .7g I ate them all at once chewed them up dry with no tea or lemon. Less than 30 minutes later it was like I got hit in the face with the hammer of god. Full blown melting visuals and hearing colors. It was super intense I've never had a trip hit me so hard so fast. So I took a .5mg of xanax and waited for my anxiety to chill out. 20 mins later I started peaking.. I'm at a strong level 4 trip at this point and I've never experienced ego dissolution before but I believe I dipped in the deep end for 10 or 15 minutes.
I can't believe I grew something so amazingly powerful. Such and mind blowing experience after my anxiety chilled out.
10/10 would do again. Thanks for the jambos jcm

Oh the anticipation!! Thanks for the report. Almost time for me to fruit my cyans. Reading the trip reports feels like when I was youtubing skydiving videos before the big first jump.
Speaking of fruiting. I'm maybe 2 days out from fully colonized pancakes --- LC > wide mouth 1/2 pints. I need to consolidate for 3-7 days, right??? Double checking, I don't want to slow them down and stall anything out. Thanks for the advice.
