I think goat shit could work so long you ensure their diet is hay or grass. The problem is they're sometimes crafty fucks and will basically eat anything

Just wanted to share.. Thanks to a kind community member I am into Copelandia/Panaeolus game too
Have already some spores germinating:

Too early to tell, but do what do you think of the P.bisporus plate on the right? Is it looks good?

P.S. Ignore slanted agar, I first poured it, then sterilized in PC
I seem have failed to level the plates very well so the agar solidified like this after sterilization.

hahah, no stress, my SAB is usually on a bit of an angle so when I pour my plates tend to be thicker on one side than the other!

Estero (day 8). Would you case now, or give it a few more days?

I’d wait a few days. It looks like there’s still a little left uncolonized on the surface and then it needs a couple to consolidate so it won’t eat the casing.

Ran out of sub for a top layer, but these jams are moving. Almost exactly two days.

but did you use a vacuum chamber too? freeze drying requires a vacuum.

on second thought, you could probably achieve the same effect by just drying them in front of a fan without any heat since they're so skinny. maybe you could bump it up to 100 F if they aren't cracker dry.

Maybe they can eat my dodgy subs?
Anyone have a clue what these white specs are growing on my sub... I wanna say it looks like yeast, but more importantly will the myc just eat through it or do I toss it.

waste of time if u ask me. if u properly dehydrate your fruits then store in vaccum sealed bags in a airtight dark container in a cool temp they will be just as good as the day you harvested them and took them outta the dehydrator. ive got pans a yr n a hlf old that will blow ur mind outta ur asshole. 🤷🏼

Hi folks. Just getting the whole thing set up again after a house move and I got lucky with agar last time so I could use a little guidance on pan myc.

In the picture you'll hopefully see a section that seems to burst out from the other growth and spread faster and thinner. It's a T1 transfer. Is that the good stuff that I should be going for? Thanks in advance.
