Who is it that said they don’t use grain??
I know somebody said they just knock up the sub with lc. Unless it was a miscommunication and they meant they just don’t use grain spawn and do all in one.

A couple of people have grown without grain, angam iirc just uses manure and hay. I grew some on just manure and straw as well. Just PC'd and poured in some LC.

BlueHelix is notorious for no spawn LC only

no u dont wanna re case but if u desire to patch areas you can but i dont. ive actually started snipping off at the casing layer. it takes more time but it def helps me keep my casing intact thru the entire grow. but no i do not soak and ibdont suggest anyone else do either as its a surefire way to get a trich explosion earlier than u normally would. i simply just give a very generous misting and that is more than good enuff👍
heres some 6th flush jambo trays. they def get more sparce and smaller with each flush tho but thats totally normal
i took these to 6 flushes just cuz they were still healthy and kickin out fruits and i fucked up the first flush on 1 tray and needed to make up some weight. i dont usually let them go that long tho just cuz my fc space is more valuable and i can get more on a fresh tray so usually 3 or 4 is my max.

Are bisporus and tropicalis much different from jamaicans/wild coast, etc? Or basically the same?

Ok I knew somebody said they did it.
Blue helix still uses grain that’s where I was thinking maybe a miscommunication happened.

I can't decide what to try first. I'm torn between PCB and Jambo.

If it is your first pan grow I would go with the Jambos. They are very aggressive and fruit fairly easily

oh i can grow massive flushes of my jambos all day long anytime i want. everytime i run my culture its a 100% certain 180-195 dry grams between the 2 trays and fcs. but im tryin to get several different killer producers like that so i can grow them whenever i want just by bustin the slant out. thats the fun part for me really. i wanna find that perfect clone and get that shit to where its so reliable and i know exactly what to expect every single time. its a lot of work but like i said i really enjoy that part but lately i have had so many marginal ms grows and i havnt been able to find that one that shows the promise im looking for.

So stoked to have some pan myc on agar, thanks for the spores asura! lucked out heavy on the tribe giveaway

Any suggestions against these transfer spots I marked? Not too sure how to feel about the WC plates either
Haven't decided yet about fruiting. Considering a Martha setup, but I can't control temperature in the room it'll be in. I might end up using the jcm easy fruiting tek instead
