Missed some nice grows!
Wow, Messiah that is awesome work!
My power has been out for 2 days. The pans didn't outright die so I am seeing if I can bring in a 2nd flush.

My manure is dried and then soaked in water along with hay. This time I mixed hay-manure with grain for more experience...it seems to be successful!

i dont ever have an issue with anything dripping from the top. the holes help that alot also but there will b a tiny bit of beading on the lid but i just carefully lift it straight up and off or up and tilt it so it runs off n back into the tub when i need to get in it.
ppl ask this all the time cuz they dont have nuttn in it when this happens to them most the time. but when u have a full tray in there that dont happen at all.
this is what my tops look like the entire time i have a tray in there. i get no dripping at all onto the surface.

Ok first 3 tubs are harvested
Two more will be ready tomorrow and the others started to knot up

There is some WWE-Action going on in there, I think this one is trying to land a piledriver.

I absolutely LOVE the way these mushrooms look! Much moreso than cubes/apes. Those trays look dangerous. Awesome job!

I was so sad my first pan grow which was also cambo, when I got the dried weight.
The other species dry more normally, but those 95% water cambos man...

You just gotta think in different terms with the weight. 16.5g is a lot of hardcore trips.

re: drips from a "jcm tub" - if your room is a lot colder than the tub (mine is like 65 vs 79 right now) the drips on the lid will be much more of a problem. but they don't drop unless I bump it or try to take the lid off. But when I do, holy shit it's a rainstorm. I think there's like 8 oz of liquid constantly hanging there just waiting for a chance to fall. I'm thinking of doubling the lid up with offset holes so this isn't so annoying.
cloning question: how the fuck do you all manage this with such tiny stems?!??! I tried a few and all the plates turned into bacterial messes. I used jcm's method of pinning a cap down for stability, then tearing the stem vertically and going in near the cap somewhere. But the damn things are so thin that my scalpel would just go straight through super easy and touch the outside as it does so.

I wonder if a sterilized cuticle cutter would work?

I know, you can easily multiply that by 3.5 if you wanted to try "comparing" them with cubes. That would roughly translate to 2 oz which is not bad at all for 1.5 quart of spawn.

Oh yeah the total actives is insane. I calculated it out when I did wild coast and it was equivalent to a cube culture putting out 6oz per quart or something similar.

Haha, I was the same the first time...till I had some.
I will have to get me some bisp, cyans and trop anyway as I only ever grew that one cambo thai so far.
Will send a request out in return for some semilanceata prints at some point, but I'm not in a rush, will pack up the grow stuff for this year anyway after this run. Other things are demanding my attention.

Looking forward to busting mine out in to some bulk bags tomorrow. I have 500mL of “Jambo” LC from a T2 plate
Really took the LC over faster than I’ve ever seen

No don’t re-case overlay is not necessarily a problem, when I get it I mist directly (entire tray) then increase my fog system and heat (take the temp to mid 80’s) for 24 hrs then I dial my fog back to normal and keep my temp up until I see pins

good i cant wait to see the end result
ya i can imagine it may be more if the room is cold as fuck like that. my room stays at about 72-75 all year round. but like i said if ur havin an issue like that and indeed they wont drip down unless u bump it or somethin. like i said try lifting ut straight up carefully then once off the area let it run down and fall off on the floor and then wipe it off. afterall its only water👍👍
ya cloning can be a pain at times and it takes some practice but eventually u will get the hang of it. i take about 5 or 6 samples per clone cuz not all will always be clean. also i have had plenty of samples that were bacterial in some spots but still grew good and fast enough to out run it and was able to get clean transfers

Yeah than pan clones just take practice and steady hands but it can be done just keep practicing and flame sterilize between every cut (allow blade to cool also) it’s a little tedious but less so than failing 9 out of 10 dish attempts you need to gently lift a inner strand

I’ve yet to get a clean pan clone from a tub.
My attempt with Aussies had some insane bacteria. Usually the bacteria chills out after a week or so and myc sprouts but this time it filled half the plate to the lid with ooze.
And yet...there’s still myc sprouting from it.
