Yep went back to spores again. I knocked up the jar so long ago but the rooms been like 64-68. Then a few days ago it jumped to 70-74 and they took off and ran the whole thing.

This jar of JCMs jambos finished up last night. Pasteurizing some more poo tonight.
I also made a bunch of pan-cakes the other night. Gonna do a Josex poke to make some LC to knock them up with

That LC is still virgin so that is just sediment in the jar I guess

Can anyone explain why we use straw with pans? Is it a nutritious supplement or strictly for water retention/soil aeration?

I believe it is because it has a high nitrogen level and provides tunnels for colonization.

Not really... It has low nitrogen levels. But it does provide nutrition. Manure is mostly straw/hay in a more advanced form of degradation.

My manure/straw sub spawned 4 days ago smells kinda "fishy" compared to before pasteurization where it smalled like sweet earth (Beautiful smell)
After pasteurization it smelled like a field after it rained and now this smell. Mycelium keeps on colonizing but has anyone had this happen? Do the thermophiles typically smell like this?

Ate some pans on Friday. They were definitely powerful, I’d say a gram of these pans was easily equal to 1.5 grams of strong APE. Nice ride, very smooth. Low body load compared to cubes though which maybe makes them feel a little less overpowering. Looking forward to mixing them with some cubes or zaps.
