Shit! jcm! I was trying to send you a PM to say thank you the prints arrived, but my porridge brain just saw the PM symbol in the profile section and clicked it. Only afterward did I realise that was the 'Block PM' button!!!
How do I unblock you???

Good news- first fruits!

Less good news, a few clusters are looking all weird and mutant-like (see last pic). Any idea what could be causing this? I suspect these are getting hit with water droplets when I pull the lid of the FC, can't seem to get it off clean. Could that be the issue?

That is impressive for a pan print. What did you do to get it to germ? Any idea how it was stored?

All I know is it was stored in a garage with constant temp changes. So a bad environment. It looks like only a single spore germinated I just transferred it to a low nute mix. The first mix was a slightly higher nute activated charcoal agar. I also got an 11 year old treasure coast print to germ on the same mix. I have more older prints on it now to see if it will work for them. Some of them are a pan jam from 2016, stonesuns pan cambo Thailand, stonesuns pan cambo Germany and stonesuns RDU. The rdu has been on the longest and I suspect it will need more finger fiddling before I can get her to pur.

Silly me, I thought jambos were a variety of cyanescens. Why aren't they just called cambos? For the sake of avoiding confusion with cambodian varieties? Is there any difference in high or potency between cyans and jambos?
love.

They are called cambos. But this variety came from Jamaica and was given the name Jambo.

When you guys spawn some pan cyan to a tray you wait for 100% colonization before applying the casing layer of 50/50 peat/verm correct? Then you wait another 24-48 hours before placing it in the FC to run thru the casing first right?
My second tray now seems to just completely stall out after I apply the casing.. it doesn't try to colonize it at all
Am I doing something wrong?

Your tray needs to be fully colonized before you case. After casing you can put it right into fruiting. Some people wait a day. I've noticed that just makes pins take 1 day longer.
