Azura you can get these zippers at Home Depot or Lowe's in the paint section right next to the 6 mil plastic rolls. Easy to use you just stick them on and then open the zipper and cut a slit with a razor knife.

Nope, wedge is at bottom. I seen other pictures with yellowish spots. In that case it was believed to be metabolites. I’m not sure what this is? Is this metabolites? Safe to use?

Metabolites are produced by mycelium when it's stressed out. It's typically an indicator of contamination.
Do what you want with it but I'm guessing the advice you'll get here is to dump it, save yourself the headache and start fresh.
Maybe try it as an outdoor patch if you aren't in the frozen parts of the country?

I think I’m going to go for it. I’ve never pasteurized sub before, so if I’m going to mess it up, why not with this?
I think it’s just in response to high heat which stirred up bacteria. Should be fine to go to bulk, but not g2g, per RR’s notes. I was asking here for advice about pan mycelium and others experience something similar?

I will mix it in a bag and let colonize. At 50 I will lay it to its own tray. And I think I will make a JCM fc for it, if it makes it that far. Lol, I’m not bored it’s just winter.

Well she's up and running. Testing out now. Temps are working great. Still waiting for humidity to get there. Almost. Lots of ghetto fabulous going in, but I got shit to fruit so I'll fix it later!

More water in the sub (add verm) and proteins seem to help (wheat bran) Also a different variety might do the trick. Wild Coast fruits are 10 times bigger than Texas. But Texas produces 10 times more fruits...

Jar progression from noc to tonight. Growth was very speedy and healthy from 10th to 19th. Jar was shaken on the 19th and after recovering for 3 days it looks less colonized than before 😤😡
Feeling defeated in the pan growing area right now.
I decided to spawn this jar anyways because fuck it, I want some pans damnit!

This is growth 48 hours after spawning

Please Help. First grow and I have already made a terrible choice. I used a BRF tek kit from midwest and everything I read said they were sure it would work for any type of shroom so I just bought my favorite spores which was a pan cyan/cambo combo. (Goliaths, Sandose, Hawaiian and Jamaican) I realized too late this is not a smart beginner choice but I have no choice but to roll with it. I am 20 days into colonization and they are colonizing. I pulled a couple jars that looked sketchy. But I have some white growth that looks odd. I have 11 jars after pulling (2) with green discoloration and 4 that didn't colonize at all. Also any tips to pull off this pan tek grow w/o manure would be great. I know my chances are slim but I don't need much for m/dose. Any chance to salvage these? The jars with blue/green have been discarded.

Most your pix are too small to see anything, #7 has some bluish color in it but I think that's just bruising.
Take the foil off your jars, assuming you have a filtered lid / dry verm layer.
You could shred the cakes into manure based sub, but you said no poo if possible. What's the holdup?
Straw would be another candidate to use as substrate but needs pasteurizing as well.
Here is a good BRF tek for pans or look for MacMerdins Simple Pan Cakes Tek both require manure though
If the above is not doable for you you could try top fruiting or birthing as is but that might result in very little or nothing without manure.
How are you planning to fruit?

Yeah, I pulled #7. Not worth it. Everything else is white just looks different from the pics I have for reference. I am worried about the thick white spots and the wisp but I just learned pan myc is more wispy so maybe ok?
This is literally my first grow ever. The jars have lids with 4 holes and there is a top layer of verm. I should take the foil off? I have a chamber to fruit. I plan to birth the cakes around week 4-5 or full colonization. Then soak overnight in water (seperate bags sealed) and roll in casing. Then place into the fruiting chamber lined with 2" perilite on foil. What about adding manure to my casing? Would that work?
I have an air pump for fae, and a light as well as a plan for humidity. Also I have slightly elevated my temps (per the stuff I've learned about pans) to try to salvage this mess. Colz temp right around 80. Will lower to 75 to fruit (if it's not a lost cause).
Will this work?
