Syringes and pan cyans do not mix. You should move to prints at the first opportunity.

Mixed my old weza subs with some wet straw and put outside...
Wow from long and skinny to short and fat
They look like cubes now!!

Amazing what the extra FAE can do for the fruit size...

And some random shots of my last wildcoast tray

I think Mary was doing a ms spore drop in center. Something to do with phenos not wanting to fruit together, or stalling out. Anyway if I remember right. In her grow she did that specifically because she did not do a colony isolation. I thought I’d throw it out there. :flyhigh:

I’m new to pan cyans and am a little uncertain as to whether these T1 plates are normal growth or are bacterial:

That doesn’t look good. Best bet would be to start over or try grabbing new wedges.

Did the plate you took them from look the same or did it have thicker myc?

Guys how often you notice that bags \ trays stall near 50% of colonization after spawning with no visible signs of contams and stay so forever?

Have a few same accidents in a row and guess that my 1/8 grains proportion to horse/verm mix simlpy can't gain enough power to grasp the bulk. So I move to our golden 1/4 by volume
In the past I did encount with more aggressive pan varieties which easily colonized bulk in a 4 days (like grow in my sig). Here I obviously have something different.

Also I think about recipes with choped straw which is so common these days. Do you guys wash the straw with soap before mixing with manure? any other prep nuances with straw?

I am also curious to know if I should be prepping chopped straw in any special way. Does it need to be washed and hydrated like WBS before mixing with the poo and brought up to field capacity?

No need to prehydrate straw at all.

Jcm have you had time to try Jake's Nec D yet?:takingnotes:

Haha fun fact. Told my girlfriend that one of my Pan heroes came up with a new strain of Pans and that there is some reports that it might be stronger than most.

She goes: Why the fuck would anyone want to make them stronger?!

I thought that was hilarious :laugh2:

Oh and Asura, when so you think you will have information to share about your new GH? I'm dying to steal some ideas from you.

The new GH is almost together but version 1.0 is a mess. I made a tub
for the rack out of 6 mil plastic  Really, I just need to make the door
tonight and wire up the 2 fans I am using for internal circulation and it
will be ready to go I think. The only thing I haven't decided on it how
I am going to handle opening it up if I want to up my evap.

I dropped wedge in this on 1/7. It did well at first. After shake not so much. Couple days ago I was going to empty it out, I set it on the counter next to stove. Got busy, started pressure cooker and after a few minutes I seen it and grabbed it. The jar was warm to touch, not uncomfortable, like babies milk. I set it in a cooler place. The next day Checked it and it had started growing rapidly. It now looks like this.

Does it look ok to put in a tray? This is blue spring btw.

This was trashed, I would try to fruit it if I did not have other options.
