It's a solid tek. And considering it's basically the pf tek it's almost too simple not to try. I suppose the main complication is the creation of the LC.
I'm going to yolo my BVI plates into some LC over the next couple of days. I've lost my time perspective again so have no idea how fast things are moving. haha.
BUT. I'm going to make some actual progress on my essay first. It's been number two to my pan grows for too long and the deadline is this friday.

Red spores?!
Maybe they do look weird from being so fast. Like when cubes take off and the caps or stem split open from growth.

It definitely looks red.
None of the parent species were red spore though right? That’s gotta be super recessive like albinos.
Speaking of, I just realized there’s no albino pans that I’m aware of. That’s kinda weird.

The grandparent was Aussie though right so maybe the genetics from RDU were somewhere in there

Well for a very long time that’s what it was listed as, it wasn’t until last year that Alan and I ran PCR on it and examined it under a microscope closely and were able to determine it is in fact tropicalis

Glad to hear that. Been dreaming about trying tropicals for a long time now. Unfortunately I have to move and I don't know when I'll get a chance to grow pans again. But I look forward to it.

The pan gods are fickle indeed! They seem to demand dedication of the highest order...at least from me.
