I cased the pans last night and stuck them in the FC tonight. I also made 3 new batches of agar as I was planning to get jcm's jambos going. I cooked them up and started the PC cycle but I took some molly and got distracted and forgot to pour the plates 🤣🤣
Got my work cut out for me tomorrow trying to reheat the damn things. Or should I just run the PC again?

For how long?? I think it’ll be ok even if it was partially sterilized.
Cover is that second or third flush? How much grain is in there?
Those cakes have turned out great.

Not long, maybe 10 mins or so, there back within normal temps now, I suppose to microbes will still multiply so long as there's some left to do so.

That is a second flush. I'm tossing them after the second flush as I have what I need. The second flushes are basically just being used for prints.
It's McMerdin's pan-cake tek.
These were made with:
- 1 part - dry verm
- 1 part - brf
- 1 part - water
- 1.5 part - aged horse manure
- 1 tsp - gypsum
A part being one of the pots they were grown in.

I feel pretty good about this plate, but I'll ask y'all how it looks since this is my first time working with pan myc. How does it look? I know myc selection is important, but all my germ plate colonies looked pretty much identical in speed, density and structure.

Are you guys measuring 50/50 peat/verm by volume or weight? Peat is denser than vermiculite when wet.

lol they decided to troll you with the first tray. Run everything super quick and then spring the wackiness on you at the last second.
Fuck it though you’ll have plenty to try them out.
I’ve been getting weird growth on my plate I’m gonna post it in a second. I also accidentally put a jar on it and cracked it but I think I got it in time.
Ok so it doesn’t look that bad now, should be able to pull some decent myc

volume. verm weighs nothing 50/50 by weight would be a lot of verm.
