I was thinking about giving one gram each. They all have experiences with drugs, specially acid. But with cubensis I think they have done 1 or 2 grams max if I recall correctly. As I've never done 1 full gram of Pan neither I come here to ask, would it be okay that dose on that setting, or would it be better to give a little less? Do you think it could be overwhelming?
Hit the middle ground and go with .75g each

I haven’t grown enough pans to know what the average species looks like but those are very similar to the cambo jams I did in my signature. They have the smaller thinner caps compared to the cyan and trop I did. Cyan and trop both had much deeper bell shaped caps.
Pasteurized sub has given me way better results. I use spawn and not bags but when I sterilized I was lucky to get two flushes. Pasteurized has been at least 4 flushes and half the time never got moldy just quit producing.

Pasteurized works great. I have yet to experiment with sterilized subs but I can tell you it's not needed.

For small shoebox tubs, throwing shit and coir into jars is easier. I do it if I'm only needing 2 to 3 shoebox and not up to pasteurizing bulk. It's fine if you do 10 days lid shut. Not for those who go straight into fruiting conditions. I know people are doing that more. Not myself because of habit. But pasteurize or sterile they'll grow. Cubensis doesn't use the flora in the same way other species do anyway.

Hello panners. I got germination on agar from a spore solution. No obvious bacteria, yay.
But. I see what appears to be colonies which are nevertheless milky white and opaque still. I plan to transfer some but I am wondering why they look that way. Some of them have begun forming white small hyphae on top of them (u can see that in pic 1 on 12 oclock colony) but mostly its this opaque spots.
Excuse the crappy pics, it's difficult to focus on them as they are almost same color as agar

and I took some pics from below to showcase that it's not some kind of random mold (U can see the spore colonies in each colony center). Now as for bacteria, idk, there are no obvious bacteria colonies anywhere

Is it typical for pan myc to start up like this? It's pan cyan var. Hawaii

Second flushes done on two of my cyan texan pots. I've tossed them now.

Good timing as well as my heating just died so the room temp is dropping lol. I think I'm at 12c/53f right now.

Looks ok to me, I've never started from a solution so maybe the liquid is changing how things look. I'd start transfering the fastest moving bits.

Beautiful fruits covers. Unlucky on the heat. And yes, thats most likely it, the spore solution was a liquid culture type of thing, it had already germinated so i didnt have to wait for this to happen on agar, i just squirted mycelium basically.

could the overlay be due to their aggressive fast nature?
