oh shhhiiii- can't wait to see these.
Took some caps from the other three pots and snapped some images
Pan cyan texas:

Pan cambo fse:

I've picked up on some differences. The cyans have grown with meatier stripes than the cambos, and are taller. While the cambos have produced more delicate fruit. Also the cyans here have grown much beefier than on my first run. Could be due to three things in my mind:
- Genetics. It's a different LC, made from the same plate but a different LC.
- Manure. These pan-cakes were made using real, aged horse manure rather than the pellets used in the first grow.
- BRF. This mixture has BRF and verm in it, whereas the others were just manure pellets and straw.
Either fun to see the differences.
Will probably harvest all the pots this evening.

The plot thickens.
Everything is based on the assumption that I was sent a pan cambo print, lol.

Haha, I have been doubting it all since the start. There is a good chance they are. The print came from the FSE so who knows if the person who sent it them knew their source well enough to be trusted ect.
I suppose all I can say for for sure is that I have 5 pots of pans. 3 are from one LC made from one print, and 2 are from another LC made from a different print. There is a difference bewteen them. haha.
The rest is a guessing game, without some fancy microscopy.
And for sure the shining fact the rises above them all is that I am very happy with my mushrooms!

8 days ago I noced up 4 jars. 3 days ago I shook all four jars. Today 1 looks ok I guess?? The other 3 show very little signs of recovery but there is a few tiny spots of growth. Does this 1 that actually has some white to it, does it look ok? Should I get another plan in the pipeline? http://

When I first tried putting pans to rye I had to go back to agar a number of times before finding a culture that was vigorous enough.

So you use the grain to tell the speed. Not agar? It seems like my cultures stall out on mea. Or are just slow. Blue spring is much slower than wild coast. Should I make up a bunch of 1/2 pints and start testing everything on grain?

In my case going to grain was highlighting the slowness or weakness of the cultures I had selected. And made me going back to agar and select something that really moved. This was down to my lack of experience. I have a better idea of what 'fast' mean in the context of pans on agar now.

Yeah I’m right there. How many plates did you streak then to find something fast. Also, now that you have some experience, how many plates would you streak out the gate with a print? Thanks

My grain prep sucked so I stopped going to grain hahah. I'm looking to revisit it thought. Maybe.
I streaked 5 for my LAGM grow.

For me pans have been slightly quicker than cubes overall but usually not crazy fast on grain.
As long as the myc looks good I keep the jars around but there’s definitely been a couple that just didn’t really come back after shaking. It’s like some genetics are super fragile.

I’m giving Asuras recipe another go with a different culture. Will be inoculating later today. Everything is being documented so I guess I just keep trying stuff until I find fast. Then I can back track and see wtf it was that did that.
I better msg the supply lady to get more supplies ordered! I’m going streaking tonight baby!

http:// I was planning on using this LC. It is blue spring.10ml of lc was used to inoculate it. I tried 5 but it got 10. High as usual and yeah those graduations are multiplied by 2. Lol. I felt that there was not enough nutrients in other broth so I made a new 1. It is thick. Can’t see thru it when spinning. Any thoughts? Oh and what is the long brown floaty seen in pic 1. These is like 4 or 5 pieces like that in there. It is 6 days in this broth.

Just harvested three of the pots as things were starting to get kinda sporey in the FC. 23g, 28g, and 29g roughly. Wet obviously.

CS, you are getting better and better! Stick with it and soon you'll be pulling canopies! Also try to clone some of your fruits. A clone gives even better pinsets.

Yeah, next step is to have another go at cloning. I didn't have much with cloning cubes. But that was back in the summer when I was very new to it all. I feel like it's time to have another go at it.
