seems like it. i ate a bunch last night, and even with the spores, they didn't taste bad….very little bitterness.
I'm trying something different here. agar>sterilized bulk. cinctilus on the left, cambodigenesis on the right. there is still half a wedge left becauseI dropped it…fucking shaky coffee hands

Psilo did an AA+ grow similar. I'm interested to see how long it takes to colonize.

i figured because they are both pans, they should colonize within good time frame even though they are wedges. there is no grain in the substrate though. its poo/coir/grass/straw/chicken manure/coffee/gypsum and 1 tablespoon of rye bran in each bag just to help with leap off.
both plates were only 1 transfer from germination, and the cints war already developing sclerotia on the plate….so heres to hoping

Wow that's alot of ingredients! Any specific ratios?
Also not to detract from your current project. But what was your substrate for your last ultra successful run with the cincts?

I just inoculated 2 small jelly jars of agar media with P.Cyans syringe. I have read in here to store at 86 deg. for 7 days and at room temp. so i do not know the proper temp. to keep at. I would think that 86 deg. is pretty hot...also after inoculating in my glove box thru the inj. ports i took them out and noticed that my agar did not settle evenly across the bottom of the jars....i swirled the little bit of syringe water around the media and well i guess that i will see if it takes hold. Thank you for some upto date advice on this topic...http://[url=http://files.shroomery.org/files/16-35/285274699-P_Cyan_Agar_2.jpg]http://
-------------------- I have picked wild mushrooms for over 30 yrs. I built a grow room for mushrooms in the early 90's and grew oyster mushrooms with great success for the first attempt. Out of 20 bales i only had to throw 3 out because of contamination. Now i want to grow again. I currently have King and Blue oyster mushrooms in the GC. The mycelium is going nuts. It is growing through the cardboard boxes i used. I also have some in plastic bins and one container growing on cardboard. In two containers the mycelium is like cotton and over an inch tall....

no, just handfuls or spoon fulls. if I'm running a clone or isolate, ill be more careful with exact measurements, but since this is just an MS trial and there are no grains involved, i figured i could be a little reckless with the supplements. the grass clippings can be a little weird. they clump very easily, so i added the straw. the coffee was just what I had that morning, and the chicken manure was an afterthought. the bran was added last, as a "just in case" to help with leap off from wedge. normally, people like stone sun/blue helix/workman use liquid>sterilized sub, but I just didn't want to go thru the hassle, and I figured the pans would run fast enough. depending on what happens, ill actually try Munch's "blender less LI" next.
the cinct bag was just sterilized manure/gypsum.

Yeah I was just looking into Munch's LI myself. Talked myself out of the hassle as well. Just seemed dropping the agar in the jar would be easier. But the faster colonization times might be worth the effort!

munch's looks the easiest, and does the least amount of damage to the mycelium, so it seems like a good bet.

Can pans grow on a substrate of worm castings and coir or verm and maybe some brf and oat flour? Or would that not suffice.
