at first i considered trays but i have these little tiny 7.2qt tubs. im not doin anything with em and my sgfc is gonna be filled with cakes. i figured i could use a drop of that LI to make a master slant for the fridge as well. just in case.

i could. and i might if you think that more wise. i just thought a drop of li through an injection port on a dish might help guarantee cleanliness. although im not TOO worried. all my plates so far seem fine through normal transfer.. just thought the extra precaution might help for a master. please forgive my noobishness of agar.

Kalistis said: Personally I think it is a marketing scheme to make owners feel like thy are giving their pets a peaceful/eco-friendly alternative to cremation when really.... the process is anything by peaceful. One company's tagline, "We at Peaceful Pets Aquamation do not want to leave our pets’ memories at the end of a smokestack."
They are just using alkaline hydrolysis which essentially uses a very high pH to dissolve all the tissues over a short period of time. The bones are then crushed manually then returned to the owners.
Shit...I'm with that, but give me the bones while...it'd be dope to have a skeleton of your pet
agreed. everything about aquamation sounds awesome. I personally think that getting dissolved in alkaline water is a lot less gross than being slowly eaten by maggots/bacteria like my poor kitty is as we speak
My high school used to clean up dead animal skeletons and put the bones together in cool poses. I don't know if I'd actually do this with my cats bones....but you never know
even if its a marketing scheme, it really does sound better than cremation
if i were rich id rather throw them and all their favorite toys in the creamator, have it burnt and the ashes pressed into a gemstone that id keep. that way all the memories of them, their toys, they're happiness, can be contained in something beautiful, just like their soul. and itd make me smile everytime i saw it...
