Nothing like getting done with an 8 hour work day where you didn't just sit on your ass!

Landscaping is hard work. Now I mostly just advise people about it.

Lots of people from over there recommended that I join up, apparently it's a great job if you don't mind getting dirty, which I don't
This is the kick in the ass I need to get my shit together

Try pouring concrete in Texas during the summer! It'll give you a whole new respect for people that run around in that heat...
Don't get me wrong I work out and try to do cardio. But there are 2 solid facts about pouring concrete. 1. Concrete is Going to crack. 2. When that concrete truck comes you aren't done until it's finished. That'll make you fall out!

Hey guys. Still a little sick. Feeling better today though fortunately. Considering whether or not to go sweat tonight. I may go just to introduce some friends to the circle.

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better. You've been in my thoughts since you expressed how sick you were the other day.

Thanks man. My mom tried to get me to go to school today, but I'm really not trying to push myself. You ever go to sweat lodges?

You can actually make a sauna in your bathroom
Just gotta plug up the crack under the door with a towel and fill the bathtub with hot water, and boom you have a sauna

I used to love hot showers but now I hate them they make my skin hot and itchy for hours after the shower
Now I prefer cold or lukewarm
If I ever did a sweat lodge I would want to jump into a cold ass pool right after to cool my skin down

Hot showers are nice but don't really compare to a sweat lodge that is poured hot.... Sauna's don't either.

They have sweat lodges every sunday where I live, sometimes more often. Certain groups consider it going to "pray", the Native American ones at least.
I haven't been in a while, but we are going to some Hot Springs tonight and there is a sauna (with rocks) there that i'll be in for a bit, but not the whole duration like a lodge. Sometimes it gets hard to breathe and we are going with some friends and they will probably want to enjoy some of the other pools there.

It certainly is a prayer. I've only been in Lakota style lodges, but it can get pretty intense. Cool to see another member on here that's participated in them

It seems that most of the Native Americans have little tolerance for white people participating in their prayer celebrations. I certainly am not interested in persuading my way into a situation where I don't feel welcome. I would love to go to one some day though. I guess the right opportunity hasn't ever presented itself.
