Difficulty getting a clean culture on agar, pan cambo

I recently bought a spore syringe of Pan Cambo from a reputable vendor and began to try germinating it on agar. I'm using antibiotic MEA. It seems to be germinating quickly, but there is also what appears to be a reddish brown mold growing with it. I've tried several plates and I'm positive the contamination is coming from the syringe.
Is it possible to get a clean culture when the syringe also contains some kind of mold contamination? If so, what should I do? I just inoculated a plate and I'm seeing the very beginning of germination. There is a thin transparent circle of mycelium that you can only see if you tilt the plate and look at the surface from an angle. I also see a tiny white dot which I'm hoping is the pan mycelium, if I wanted to try to transfer it, would it be best just to scoop at it with an inoculation loop and swipe a new plate rather than cut a chuck out of the agar?
Most of my experience cleaning up a culture has been cutting away at mycelium with an adjacent contam. In this circumstance it seems that the two are growing on top of each other because the mold spores are in the syringe.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I suppose it wouldn't be worth trying to get a replacement for the contaminated syringe? It does say clearly on the label, 'for microscopy purposes only'

It's some type of mold. I don't believe any sponsored sites would sell a liquid culture, mine was a spore syringe.

I got a bunch of contaminated syringes from ralph confirmed on plates, you could see the spores but there was so much contams the spores wouldnt germinate. Mostly bacteria but one was trich.

With the spores try squirting some in some left over agar @120F (toward the end of pouring your plates when it is almost gone), swirl then pour into plates. Should help a little. Pan spores can take a little heat without dying. Always worth a try in the meanwhile why you ask for replacements.

Try spreading the spore solution across the plate in a thin layer by tilting it after putting a drop down. It separates them more, if everything germinates from a small spot it will be intertwined more.
Spore prints are always better for agar IMO and you can easily make syringes at home.
