Small hike! * 1
    #22212263 - 09/09/15 01:29 PM (8 years, 4 months ago)

So,I went out today to look for some more reishi, and I found a ton of gymnopilus, they were everywhere!
I found them growing from oak and palmetto.
Any idea on what type these may be?

I also found this strange pink bolete.

Amanita vaginata.

some randoms.

Last,but certainly not least,one single reishi I found:smirk:

Tell me about it, lol. I probably walk by edibles all the time, but being a noob like myself I think they are nothing.

Nice finds dude, looks like a fun hike.

I never realized amanitas could form mycorrhizal relationships with discarded electronics. :lmafo:

Yeah,considering where you're located,I'm sure you do.
I know when I was in Kentucky, all I had to do is walk out my front door and find edibles, here is another story:smirk:

Nice pictures.
The first one looks like an inactive Gymnopilus, the second may be Boletellus emodensis, three maybe something like Amanita constricta
