When Boston had a few feet of snow last year I still had grass.
But "that's that American attitude."

Basic law of averages/math can prove that was an outlier..

Since you're so smart you should be able to explain to me why the imaginary line we call a border effects climate. You do realize that some of your states are more northern than I am?

One thing I know from living in New York my whole life, it is colder in canada. I think someone living in Northern Ny, Northern Minnesota,North Dakota, or whatever northern part of a bum fuck state I can name will freeze regardless.

In all seriousness though, Toronto was just rated the most livable city in the world by The Economist. I love Toronto.

So your big argument is "it's colder if I go north." No fucking shit. Is it supposed to get colder if I go south? Is that why the geese fly that way?

For what it is, hell yeah. They'll get bonus points when the Jays and Leafs win this year.
Lots to do in Toronto, pretty drivable, lots of work. Went to the ripley's aquarium a week or two ago on a bit of acid. Lots of fun!

What a disappointing thread so far.
OP: Why do you think Canada sucks? Explain a little more why you 'just don't feel the hype', why Canadians have 'a chip on their shoulders' and are 'pussies'? You seem convinced.
I hear only good things about Canada, it even snows! But I'm like 10 0 0 0 miles away on the tip of Afrika..
P.S I agree with Impatientguy.

It's more about the hype man and i'm pretty apolitical but when I hear them criticize USA policies I get it but it honestly sounds patronizing from my pov. I've had Canadian Teachers I've really enjoyed and liked but the classmates were a different story. I've heard all this shit how Canada has the best pot and that this "bc" bud will wreck you man, I didn't find it amazing when I was there. The shitting on America acting like it's Iraq because we have crazy people with guns. I just don't like the fake moral superiority in general but Canadians I have met go hardcore with it on any issue. The woman were pretty meh to me as well, all were too skinny and had no ass to work with. Toronto was alright but in terms of a fast pace city with a great club scene I don't think it competes with cities here. I was just seeing if anyone was let down with their visit, you'd think Montreal or Toronto was Amsterdam or Prague if you talked to Canadians.

I've traveled to most major cities in Canada on business and I would have to say that the only province I don't care for is Quebec...I have found the overwhelmingly French culture there mostly pretentious and self-righteous. On the other hand, I have made friends in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia ...and everyone I met there were just plain amazing. Some actually took me into their homes and were more hospitable than most people I've met in the lower 48.

Can't say I'm a huge fan either.
I just know we have some chip flavours that there isn't down south.
