Potential Amanita Muscaria var. Guessowii

Habitat: I found this in mixed woods (80% oak 20% pine). It was growing at the edge of of a path of somewhat sandy soil. It is from central/northern Michigan. Recent rains have brought dozens of these out in the area.
Gills: White, attached gills
Stem: 15cm long, 1.5-2.5 diameter from thinnest to widest, white. It seems to me to have the rings at the base that one would look for on a Muscaria, they are are bit diminished in the pictures from being transported. Unfortunately, the bottom of the base broke off when I dug it out.
Cap: 15cm diameter, yellow/orange gradient w/ white flecks.
Spore print color: White
Bruising: No bruising
Other information:

Please let me know if there is any other information would be helpful or if better pictures are needed.
Thanks in advance.

From what I can see, I don't think so.
It has been my observation that the concentric rings around the base of the stipe tend to be well pronounced, but some specimens get worn down with rain and the rings are in poor condition.
Also the color of the pileus seems a bit off, a bit to creamy/yellow for Amanita muscaria var. guessowii, this could be attributed to the specimen growing through the rain, or being exposed to sunlight, but I just don't feel comfortable saying these are a muscaria type of Amanita, sorry.
Don't worry though, if your area is getting plenty of rain, then keep checking the area you found them in and chances are you will find more. If you find more make sure to get some good quality pics of the whole mushroom intact, in habitat and harvest would be great.

Thanks for the help! I can think of a few more potentials in the area, so I'll get my real camera out and keep at it.
