Yeah. Unless Charles comes out of the closet and announces that he's a raving queen, it will become 'God Save The king'. It would be fun though to sing, 'God Save our raving queen'.

Lol. No.
Oh Canada and the damn prayer... They have removed the prayer. Thank god.

.
Tell us more of this license to watch television. I have not heard about it before.

The licence-fee pays for a shit-load of advert free television, national and regional radio stations.

There's nothing stopping you from watching, but, until recently it was a criminal offence subject to a £1000 fine or imprisonment, rarely used, as a last resort, to watch without one.
Every two years I still get a letter from the 'Beeb' telling me to contact them to affirm that I don't require a licence. But they can obtain a search warrent to varify the fact.
I have a television but it hasn't ben 'plugged in' for over ten years, and wouldn't work if I did as the whole of British broadcasting went digital some time ago.
I can watch online as long as I don't watch 'live broadcasts'. Slightly concerning is that on the odd occasion that I have clicked on a live broadcast you get this warning: "Don't forget, to watch TV online as it's being broadcast, you still need to be covered by a TV Licence." I thought they were tracking me via 'cookies' tracing my ip address and cross-referencing with their licence holder data-base. I'm assured that that isn't the case.
