We have privacy laws for a reason, and if he doesn't want a dumb oil worker seeing his transcripts, that's his business.

It was a trick question.  He did release them many years after the NYT leaked them.

Guess what?  Nationality and ethnicity aren't on college transcripts.  Just grades really.  Even if Obama bent over backwards for every conspiracy theory the birther crowd will never be satisfied.

Shit look at your posts.

Good excuse, as leader of the free world, I don't see the issue, but apperently he does...

He's not the leader of the free world.  He's just the President of the U.S., and only for a couple of years more.  It's really none of your business what classes he took in college.

The shills always spring into action to defend the status quo. There are lots of witnesses who knew barry soetero was a foreign student. Think trump will get away with anything when he is sworn in? They will go over his record with a transcript and no shills to cover for him. He will have to be honest and do everything right.

Are you personally attacking me? I didn't go to college, I make six figures within that bulllshit...

And why won't Obama release his, what could possibly be there? Maybe it's because he lied on his admissions? The fact you support this "liar in chief" says volumes....

Maybe he doesn't want to legitimize ludicrous accusations conjured by raving assholes. 'Black men can't go to college, let me see your transcripts!'...

Obama is clearly well educated.

Stop crying.

Why should he release his transcripts.  It's not your business what grades he got.

No crying here, as the leader of the free world, yeah, I'd think it's kinda important... Me? I'm just a dumb oilfield worker, making more sense than your president ever will...

Did you ever stop to think that maybe, being an oil field worker, you don't know everything? You take some hardline positions on a lot of things. An education would certainly soften some of those stances.

This isn't blaming Bush, or targetting Bush... insert any other president's name there, and the point remains thd same. Also, just because you're tired of hearing legitimate arguments about Bush, doesn't illegitimize them.

You are by far, but by far, very, very far off in your definition of country's soverignty, even though control of illegal immigration is part of the political realm, in international relations, of domestic management.

So, first, just to be clear, this is NOT and never WILL BE  an issue of country sovereignty.

About disdain, I don't think it was something that needed to be said. The tone is not rational when referring to people who are here illegally. It is a feeling that you are allowed to have, by the way, and at least I grant you that it has no relevance in the technicalities of any debate, but it does show intent and origin of thought. I don't understand why it is so easy to express disdain for a political idea, but not for the people involved in it. I prefer honesty.

Also, about "once they become legal." This is how immigration works, actually. You are illegally in the country and, depending on personal conditions, you get your visa and/or green card. I was not talking about amnesty, but about the regular process of naturalization.

You may have been harsh, but you do have one point that is important: How are people so sure? How is it possible to have such strong positions? Even if you are educated, but you are not educated in politics, how can you know? Most rants here are just juvenile, but the main point is that education does not ensure you will know the people involved and their capacities, which makes all of the difference for those "hardcore" positions (based on ill formed concepts).

I'm not sure what you're referring to by 'self-control'. Like attaching aggressive partison legislation to a budget bill and then blaming the president for shutting the government down? Or inviting Netanyahu for a visit to congress, without consulting with the president? That's not all of government. That is beligerant Republicans. There is no equivolency here. We can elect more mature politicians.

Do you say that many foolish things IRL?

Both sides attach crap to bills. Both sides blame the other.

Obama seems incapable of not being partisan. The man is a tool. Presidents are always partisan. Never seen one that wasn't. Neither have you. That you think you have is laughable and should embarrass you.

Mature politicians is, by and large, an oxymoron if ever there was one.

Good stuff though. You should write comedy for a living, though stuff you intend to be funny might be a better path.

Yes, presidents are partisans, but Obama did his best to work with Republicans, and, contrary to Democrat's record while Bush Jr. was president, Repulicans indeed had a hand in making every decision a difficult one.

I actually don't understand why that's important at all. This is what we already established before, presidents are tools of their constituents, and this is why parties matter.
