Liberals are the only ones who stand for personal Liberty.

I didn't say the constitution doesn't deserve praise at all. I said that we should respect it, but it should not be made akin to Gospel. It is not some holy document. I hear people like Glenn Beck saying that Jesus himself wrote the constitution with his own hand, etc.

I believe you conservatives have the right to hate the constitution, and to express your disdain for it. As a Liberal, I just don't particularly agree with you. I'm a bit of a fan, actually ;-)

Do you have a source for that Glenn beck?

And whatever dude, libs like Obumble call the constitution flawed all the time, so yeah, and are t you a Bernie supoorter? What part of his agenda is constitutional? LMFAO!

cmon goofy, surely you can back up these claims, lets hear it:popcorn:

I hope you don't feel like this is some kind of 'gotcha' question, but since you won't let it go, here it is:

Quote:

It is God’s finger that wrote the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

You can find the video of him saying it here, at Liberty University.

http://gradspeeches.com/2010/2010/glenn-beck

That quote was taken out of the written transcript of his speech. You can type it in google and find a million links where people explain how Glenn Beck is a fucking hack.

Certainly wasn't a "gotcha" question as personally I believe that's a leftist tactic, not mine.

However, what you claimed beck said and what he actually did certainly appear completely different, thanks for providing the source proving you wrong once again...:highfive:

... That is what he said. I didn't misrepresent him in the slightest.

'Gotcha' questions are a good part of debate. I don't think there's anything wrong with them. It's not something only the left does either. Every single one of the Republican candidates was crying about all of the 'gotcha' questions after the last debate, because the right uses them too!

Or their parents can take them with them when they are deported.  Just because they are citizens doesn't mean they have to stay here.  It just means they can stay here.  But the parents can't.  They can fuck off back to the shithole they made and fled.

Right. At the end of the day I only have an issue with taking away the children's citizenship, because it is unconstitutional to do so. I don't think it makes sense that people should be given citizenship because they managed to hop a boarder and fuck on US soil. That's a pretty low bar.

The moderator of a debate should be neutral.  It wasn't that the questions were 'gotcha'questions, the fucking moderators where editorializing and defining the candidates as they ask the question.

For example, the question Ted Cruz was asked that set him off was a question--more like a statement and opinion--about the bill raising the debt ceiling and it had a long, drawn out characterization of him that was colored with the moderators opinion.

A good question would have been: "What is you position on the recent bill that raises the debt ceiling and stops sequestration.?"

Remember this was a primary debate.  The purpose of it is to let candidates state their positions on the issues so primary voters could size up the candidates, not to attack the candidates and characterize them, and get them at each others throats, and try to make them look bad.

It was republican debate. One more thing.  Cruz's answer wasn't just a hit back at the moderator. If you noticed, he repeated each candidates negative that had been mentioned by the moderators, so he in effect repeated the attack on the candidates but let the blame fall on moderators

most of them didn't even figure it out.

Exactly!

Agreed. I don't really know what else to call them though. None of the 'debates' are actually debates. They don't go back and forth of a single issue until it is hashed out. It's not intense like a real debate.

They are mock debates.

The whole process is such a fucking joke on so many levels. If they hadn't cut the number of Democratic 'debates' down to 6, maybe they'd have more time to do real debates over a short list of issues.

I'm pretty sure wasserman-schlitz and the DNC do not want their candidates policies actually reaching a majority of voters...
